Pretty cool hearing different people tell me how fun the Mixed Relay was to watch. Hopefully this will get people more excited about draft legal triathlon, especially in United States.
Americans say that Kenyans are partly so good at running because they start running to school and back at a super young age, but also say that kids who run in America will burn out from training too hard at a young age.
1:02:16 for my half marathon debut and a win against a very good field of pro runners. Here’s how I feel after the race, but if LeBron is talking about triathlons and not the lakers....
Sunglasses rule for male distances runners: (I didnt make these so don’t get mad me)
Train in sunglasses - sub 14 5k
Race in sunglasses - sub 13:30 5k
Race in sunglasses indoors or at night - sub 13:00 5k
My 2 idea for women’s 10k trials which has 50 runners qualified:
1) if you are 380m behind the leaders you have to step off
2) insane stager in which you can’t cut in until after 5 laps. Basically 2 25 person races going on the first 2k.
Hardest run workout I did before running 62:15 in the half for the win was 10*3 minutes on/ 1 off hilly grass course, barely running under 5 minute miles pace on the on.

If they made cross country a winter Olympic sport I would hope there’s a qualifying system where you have to run 5+ XC races in the year and a half before to qualify.

:
Every Ironman guy “going to go 350 watts for this 80k”
Every ITU guy “going run 3:05 k pace for this 18k run”
Im looking forward to all this talk to be over.
