People literally called the Fallout show woke before it even came out just because it had a female main character
You have no idea what you are talking about
"If these female characters came out today, you would hate them."
Useless response made by mosquito-like personalities, not worth taking seriously.
Meanwhile these modern female characters have been praised by damn near everyone:
Twitter is the only place you'll see people saying the turbo-sexist pro-slavery pro-crucifixion faction of bloodthirsty sadistic murderers is better than the deeply flawed but well intentioned faction cause they make you pay taxes
tbh the Sisters of Battle should be just as developed as the Space Marines. If you're gonna have gender exclusive factions at least give them equal attention. As it stands the Sisters are woefully underdeveloped, which I think is one of the main reasons behind why people want -

If you say “I like football, I just don’t like kicking a ball”. You don’t actually like football. No-one will thank you for trying to change the rules so you can pick up the ball and throw it.
Lookin at these comments
Damn, so much for the "just homebrew / kitbash female space marines, as long as it's not canon that's fine!" bullshit
Literally says "imaginary warhammer"
you do everything they want and they still whine
Great art but I swear to god if Isha is freed by Russ and not by the efforts of the Eldar I'm just straight up quitting 40K cause you CANNOT do the Eldar that dirty
They've already been done dirty enough, let them save their own goddess
Well, that's proved it.
Chuds coping about women in a faction that never had anything mentioning women not existing in said faction
They just hate women
The Daemonculaba isn't scary. Nor does it show just how brutal and grimdark 40k is. It's just a cheap shock value gross-out that pales in comparison to just about any truly masterful example of literary horror you could cite.
Aight so people are being dumb and thinking I unironically think Bitter Springs was justified, I DON'T. I was joking.
NCR is right to fight back against the Great Khans though.
@schmlondays3
Mmm yes, cause women from a hive world should be drop dead gorgeous. That's definitely lore accurate.
Some of these people deadass value beauty more over writing and aesthetic holy shit.
"one of the coolest armies"
yep that's why they're never brought up outside of arguing that women are a thing in 40K...
Also they're just straight up not cool lol
NEW: 10-year-old boy takes his own life after getting constantly bullied at school for his glasses and teeth.
Heartbreaking.
Sammy Teusch of Greenfield, Indiana was bullied up until the night he took his own life according to his family.
The parents say they contacted the
- female space marines: the Marines are always center stage and have by far the most lore out of any of the Imperium's factions. Sisters often play a supporting role to the Marines and don't get NEARLY as much attention as the Marines. Hell, in most stories where they're not -
- the main focus they're straight up just token female characters. Even the literal leader, Morvenn Vahl, who is a *high lord of Terra,* is so underdeveloped that she's a token character as well.
Genuinely why is there no outrage about this? They deserve so much more attention.
@JD_Eblin
This is definitely fair imo. It's undeniable that the NCR is imperialistic. You're not really being against imperialism by siding with the Legion or the NCR, you're just supporting the other empire.
I know it was only a few days ago that I was ruthlessly shitting on the Sisters but I've given them a second chance and really fallen in love with em... which has unfortunately just led to being disappointed.
It is what it is I guess.
@malpaistheXenaR
Female characters are treated so weirdly and I hate it
There's the whole anti-woke crowd that goes nuts over their existence and it's just so frustrating. Also annoying seeing people call female characters unique for being female instead of all the other traits that make them -
@MythMasonry
Not it isn't? I haven't campaigned for FSM in a while, if I ever did. Memory is bad tho lol
forced impregnation, rape, it's semantics at that point. Still disgusting.
Just for the record I think it'd be useful to clarify my stance on FSM
I really don't care all too much. If they're added, sweet. If they're not added, that's cool too.
Another thing I didn't consider is that the SoB come in one variety all things considered - nun. If you don't like that? Tough shit.
More variety for them would absolutely be amazing. Space Marines get to be practically anything you can think of while Sisters get to be nuns.
@TheAllKnowingN1
Honestly the Axolotl Tank is so much more unnerving to me cause of how clinical it is. It's not bloody, it doesn't look like something you'd see on a metal cover. It looks like something you'd see in a sci fi hospital.
Makes it so much scarier.
@claymoreman69
@Thor_Odinson
I do like Warhammer Fantasy, though. I can like something and dislike certain aspects of it. It's not all or nothing, dumbass.
And no! I will not stand for sexist writing!
@ImhotepOnAir
40K and Starship Troopers have the themes OP is thinking of but Halo? Halo is literally just "aliens are real and they want you dead and they hate you and they're awful and you need to fight back" LOL
@PhaeronofLegos
Women existing is not a fetish
If you think people only want female space marines as a fetish then you think women are a fetish.
Awesome self-report right there
@SocialNomadRach
It's only ever the transphobes that throw fits about people painting trans stuff on warhammer figures that may have transphobic implications. Like deadass all the trans people I've seen are like "hell yeah that's sick"
Stop virtue signaling
@Fullmetal150
Some FSM advocates lean more towards "lol I just wanna own the chuds" but I think the majority just want a faction that's super developed with women in it, which I can't blame them for too much.
I just feel like most don't get "this faction isn't for you and that's ok"
@BobyRay6
oh it's even worse tbh, it's more of a "mutilate your womb / belly in gruesome ways and forcefully impregnate you over and over until you die"
We all know Warhammer 40,000 is a depressing setting, but out of all of its lore, what do you think is the most depressing of it all? IMO it's one line from one of the Dark Imperium
‘The Emperor loves us all,’ lied Roboute Guilliman
I don't think shitposting about hating elves is in any way queerphobic unless it is done in a blatantly queerphobic way or by a person who is queerphobic
Elves characterized as arrogant, haughty, ambiguously gendered, and not very traditionally masculine, were immediately singled out by fashy fantasy fans as a great proxy target for queerphobia. You can get banned for calling someone queerphobic slurs but not "knife-ear."
@Streetsdisple
inorganically? If they're female from the start how can it not be organic?
"inorganic writing" is 99% of the time just a dogwhistle for "something I don't like has women / minorities in it"
@HeirofLech
that average is still exceeded by literally everything the imperial guard is gonna fight though. physical strength doesn't mean anything if both genders are gonna get chopped to bits anyway.
