Let me get this straight. Ed Markey voted for the Hyde Amendment, the Iraq War, and The 1994 Crime Bill and is now considered a progressive firebrand?!?!? If you had an issue with Joe Biden taking those votes and changing his mind later, be consistent.

Stephen Lynch who is now pro-choice, is being hit for his past opposition to abortion rights. Ed Markey wasn't pro-choice back in the day either.

@DylanBWade1 Kennedy may not reach every progressive purity test, but electing him is the difference between needing 60 votes and needing 51 to pass legislation

The best timeline is Kennedy winning the primary and voting to abolish the filibuster to pass progressive policies. The most fun timeline is Ed Markey winning the primary and opposing abolishing the filibuster. Source: Source:

@_Jason_Dean_ Why, he introduced a bill that he didn't even vote for and that didn't include all the weird rhetoric of socialism from the leaked faq. Of course he is a progressive champion, because Kennedy or something.
