Honestly proud of most of the team today - defensively couldn’t have done much more. To limit the best team in the world to 1.22xG is pretty impressive - Ten Hag’s game plan was spot on. Sadly lacked the quality players to pose our own threat - and 🇪🇸 did his thing.

#mufc players of the required technical level: • Shaw • Martinez • Antony • Eriksen • Malacia • Martial • Lindelof • Donny • Sancho That’s purely technical, many lack physical attributes/availability. Varane + Case more than outweigh this with defensive quality.

Bart Verbruggen: DDG replacement? Biggest concern here is DDG sticking around. Young GK and will likely make mistakes + take time to settle. Last thing he needs is large sections of the #mufc fan base screaming for De Gea to be reinstated every time he makes a mistake. Pressure.

Please don’t ignore Garnacho’s defensive workrate. Been fantastic - helping Shaw, stopping crosses, pressing high + recovering quickly. Even if the attacking returns aren’t always there, he works at the level of a Utd player. Rashford on the other hand…
