My iPhone 14 Pro’s battery life is extremely poor. Took it off the charger at 8am. 20% at 12pm. Charged it to 80%. 4pm and already at 20% again.

Exported a 33 minute super demanding FCP project: - 13" 10th gen Intel MacBook Pro took 4h30min to export. Battery died after 1h20min, so it had to be plugged in. -13" M1 MacBook Pro took 47 MINUTES to export. Battery was at 72% at the end! GAME-CHANGING! @gregjoz @tim_cook

Exporting our 4K30 extremely demanding Camera Comparison project and we got these results: MacBook Air (Intel i3, 2020) - 12 hours 8 minutes (for real) MacBook Air (Apple M1, 2020) - 49 minutes Oh, and the M1 air DOESN’T have a fan! It never gets hot and it lasts for 6h more!

Fun fact - the iPad mini only supports SmartHDR 3. The iPhone 13 supports SmartHDR 4. Both feature the A15 chip. This proves that SmartHDR is purely a software choice and not a hardware one.

Yup. My M1 MacBook Pro is bricked. Thanks Apple. Apple is advising all users with bricked M1 Macs, to return them. Found an article online that points to a “fix”. It’s tricky. And you need a 2nd Mac, but I’m going to try it regardless.

Would you guys get the iPhone 12, if there won’t be any 120Hz Refresh Rate? So, the only major changes being the squared-off frame and 5G support. Would you get it for just those? Obviously the A14 would be nuts, but the iPhone 11 is still very fast already. #iPhone12

This is huge! “M1X” and “MacBook Pro” are officially listed as tags on Apple’s official WWDC video on YouTube. Looks like Apple was planning to announce them, but scrapped them last minute. Found by @maxbalzer_
