Hi, I was able to complete another test. But this time I had lots of help and advice from a friend, Telemon (

), He is responsible for painting the background. Thank you very much ☺️. I was able to focus on LO, Genga, and Compositing
jjk s2ep17 storyboard. (Nothing here is canon from the manga) Sincere thanks to everyone who signed on to finish the storyboard if you happen to be reading this.
I received a lot of notes from Chengxi Huang about how to finesse their respective martial arts styles (taichi and bajiquan). This scene's success is thanks to him, seriously he's great
I listened to Wong Fei Hung on repeat a lot when drawing the LO. That song is fucking awesooome.
There's also this video about bajiquan which I thought was really entertaining to watch lmfao, the teachers are so cool..
Same with bajiquan, There's so much explosive power in that form, when I was trying to draw the choreography I kept arriving at moments where Wang would just get hit and just lose. Seriously this style looks intimidating as hell. I dont think I did it justice the way I drew it.
The hits are so fast and deadly, I was really struggling to have Wang's smooth and fluid taichi motions read fast enough and still have time to deflect Guan's attacks. But I don't mean to complain too much

Those numbers are labels for the cel layer and the sequence position of that particular frame in that cel layer. It's to help the other departments keep track of where this frame belongs in this shot.
