All men looking to get married must understand the difference between respecting your mother & being a mama's boy. A man respects his mother but also stands up for his wife when needed. A mama's boy is simply a spineless individual who makes his wife feel unprotected. Met 1 today

@QueeenBee27 Wont go into the details but really pissed off with what i got to witness today. I never thought of this problem before but now I think that such men are too immature to get married. If women can somehow figure out such tendencies in a man, they should avoid marrying him.

@WrathOfTatars Same thing works in the other extreme too. Joru ka ghulam types of men are fairly common as well.

@arafatkamaal True. A man must give everyone his or her due. However, I also believe that there comes a time when a man must put his responsibilities towards his wife and kids at the top of the priority list. He'd be ruining his own marriage if he doesn't.

@WrathOfTatars Have you ever wondered why aren’t they called “papa’s boy” ? Your advice should be given to women who raise mama’s boy. Most women in our part of world are too protective when it comes to boys & they continue to be until they transform them to Mama’s boy and feel proud about it.

@qasid4you Yes i have wondered about it. You make a lot of sense. I think thats where balanced parenting comes in and why it's important for the father to be an active participant in raising the child.

@AzraZohra True. Islam has laid out everyone's rights in clear terms. They must be followed.

@WrathOfTatars Sometimes men outsource the protection and care of their parents to their wives and shirk from their own responsibilities. This is where the actual problem starts in the households. A man never does the same for his wife's parents.

@WrathOfTatars A Man must follow - Allah's commands to fulfill the rights of mother and wife, Sunnah of the Prophet (Pbuh) to treat them kindly and then his own judgement to deal with such situations rather than being a Maa da Laadla or Joru ka ghulaam.
