Remember the importance of mental well-being and suicide prevention. Access to firearms can increase the risk of suicide. Let's promote safe storage practices, mental health resources, and work together to prevent firearm-related suicides.
An eerily similar situation as to what happened here in Uvalde.
We are thankful that nobody was injured and that the police and school district took the right kind of precautionary measures in keeping the students and staff safe.
BREAKING: The Mount Horeb Area School District took action after an active shooter was at the middle school Wednesday morning, the school district confirmed in a Facebook post.
The school district said the suspect did not get into the school.
This includes individuals with criminal records, or mental health issues. Without a background check, these individuals can acquire firearms, increasing the risk of gun violence.
