You can't tell a sex worker just by looking at someone.
We're everywhere. Like the CIA, we've infiltrated every sector of society without detection.
We are the keepers of all your dirty secrets. And the world keeps going BECAUSE we keep them.
But be careful, Congress.
If you are caught being an
#escort
you get evicted. Your neighbors talk about how awful you are. You are presumed guilty without a trial & considered a risk to children. But actually be a pedophile, a rapist, a molester, sexual harasser & you are fit to be in congress. WTF?
Congratulations to our incredible powerlifting, banh mi-eating, cosplay spear-building, eye glitter & sparkles, brand strategist

Your

win is incredibly well deserved and we are so proud of you.
The hotel gap is the time you check out until the time you can check into the new hotel. Usually 11 to 3 or 4. It is why 1230 appointments don't work sometimes. I've had gentleman say just pay for one extra night. Doing that eats the profit. She can't always see you at noon
Sex Work is the most resilient of industries and professions.
Nothing can kill us.
And after the Rapture and we're all still here, everyone will suddenly want to come to our parties.
Safety FYI for NYC providers. (Shared with permission) A man named Paul J has contacted a provider seeking an "authentic rape experience". He offered 10K to a provider to let him do whatever he wanted to her including causing unconsciousness and injury. Do not see him
#providersafety
I think most of us
#providers
have killed a number client's relatives. Seriously
#gentleman
if you are going to cancel just say you need to cancel. This whole relative dying thing... We hear it constantly. Often time from clients who can't remember their lie.
Signs you may be a badass:
You suggest ladies you've never met
You aren't afraid to get a "table for one"
You kill 'em w/ kindness
You don't base your self-worth on your rate or bookings
You RT w/out expecting one back
You can admit if biz is slow
You never give up
To the SWers, activists and brave souls working behind the scenes to make this happen, to
@hbo
& the team at
@LastWeekTonight
, to every single one of you: thank you.
@iamjohnoliver
: GOOD for fucking you. 🙏
And just like that, we're one step closer.
Very simple logic. If you are a man who prefers to not pay deposits to providers then it is pointless to contact providers who require them. Save everyone the hassle and see the providers that meet your specific requirements.
Treat your regulars like gold, refer others without expecting the same, don't give in to the temptation to gossip and always conduct your business in an ethical manner.
Nothing in this industry is worth compromising your integrity and character.
I have recently encountered the argument that screening is a loss for providers. I disagree. Not running into a psycho that risks destroying your health, your business, your ability to make a living in the future... Screening him out is worth the price.
If you are a new provider or unsure and a dude tells you he only pays after the session and that other providers do this. The answer to this is always no. There are a dozen reasons why you never accept getting paid after a session and zero reasons why you should.
Mani/Pedi: $45
Amtrak: $120
Hotel room: $200
PS Group screening report: $40
Canceling that client with a secret history of violence before it was too late?
PRICELESS
Anyone who feels that being a provider is just lying on your back, getting sex all day and making huge profits is completely wrong and really a complete jerk.
Why isn't the Department of Homeland Security this concerned about TER? In TER guys write graphic narratives of what they did. A price point is listed in the provider review. Guys even discuss harming providers. Yet EROs is the danger...
Providers make their living by charging fees for blocks of time. Time spent driving is time that can't be sold to someone else. Therefore, it is the gentleman who wants her to travel to him that pays all of costs including loss of time to transportation.
It's stunning how many will line up to defend pedophiles, rapists, sexual abusers and put everything on the line to defend them. Those same people will arrest us as being immoral and dangerous criminals for selling a consensual erotic service.
"But I'm a nice guy" he says. Uh huh.. we have heard it all. If you really want to be a "nice guy", respect her request for accurate information so that she is able to feel safe and secure.
Don't let TER members convince you that you should lower your rates for any reason. Their TER membership is irrelevant to your pricing regardless of what spin they try to put out to get a lower rate
A provider that is going to the lengths of requiring real telephones and real emails is being diligent, selective, and careful. If she is this thorough she is very likely going to be discrete. It is up to you to choose what you are comfortable with but she needs to be safe.
A provider traveling to see you loses the ability to see clients for the duration she travels amounting to significant income loss. Therefore it is up to the gentleman asking the provider to go to him to pay her lost travel time plus her expenses. It isn't person. It's business
Providers: we are considering hosting a FREE webinar on twitter tips & tricks and how to refine your content strategy through analytics.
Please like, comment, DM or email if you would find this beneficial and kindly RT to help spread the word!
It happens a lot. It's not a good way to start things. Businesses have business hours. Getting annoyed at a business for not being open when it says it isn't open. Don't be this guy.
If you arrive smelly, you get sent to the shower and that counts on your clock. You are a grown man. You shouldn't have to be told to be clean. No, she isn't paid to accept you "as you are" just because you are a customer.
He hires a provider for one hour as stated in her advertising. He then does everything he can to try to extend the time without paying for extra time and then complains he is the victim because he got the sixty minutes that he paid for and agreed to in advance. 1 hr = 60 minutes
Judgmental outsider: All this sex and money, people who live like you never end up happy
Us: You may be right. But neither do you. And in the meantime, we've had all the sex and money
It's a simple concept. Her prices are what she advertises. She's a provider, not a used car. There is no haggling, no competitor matching and no interest in the great "deal" you think you have negotiated with another provider.
Screened a dude this morning. 258 criminal charges in eleven years in one state. Dude should be calling a lawyer not a provider. Perhaps also it maybe time for dude to consider some life changes.
When slobbyists contact you telling you or offering business advice such as lowering your rates, offering services you don't wish to, not screening, block them. You don't need them and they don't make the rules. You do. There are plenty of good clients out there
In light of current events, we encourage all providers to obtain a domain extension that is not under US jurisdiction ASAP. Provider Safety is able to assist with this as well as cost-effective offshore hosting. Email info.ps

You're not alone. We rally and thrive.
Shared with permission. A man wanting a provider to fly three hours each way to see him for a one hour appointment at $500. He did not believe he should have to pay travel expenses as "$500 for an hour is a lot of money perhaps even a bit excessive" Wrong on many levels
It's International Sex Worker Rights Day.
To the content creators, to the dancers, to the FSSWs, to the adult performers, to the kink providers, to those who fit no category but have their rights taken away every day...
We will fight. And one day, we will win.
A message for TER and other Hobbyist board slobbyists from Independent Providers. We set our rules and our rates. If you don't like it than see someone else. There will always be other clients. Good clients who respect providers.
How about I don't discuss rates ever and I don't ever need you or any other exploitative jerk looking to manipulate events to cheat providers. Exploit this. Click/Block
Enough with the assumptions of why we choose to be providers. Our reasons are our business and ultimately we are working to pay the bills. You don't assume the sales manager at Jones Chevrolet was abused. You don't ask him what "real job" will he get? Same applies to providers
The amount of time you hire a provider for is the amount of time the provider sees you. A one hour session is sixty minutes. It's not a starting point for negotiation to get free extra time.
How you run your business is up to you. He may try to convince you to do something the way he wants by comparing how "other providers" allegedly do things. Your business, your rules. That simple.
ANNOUNCEMENT: Given today's events, Provider Safety will be extending office hours to 10p ET tonight and all weekend. Please email us for assistance with hosting, website transfers, domain registration, creative needs etc. Your safety is paramount to us! Info.ps

It's often an act of God to get housekeeping to your room, unless you have a client, in which case every housekeeping agent in the hotel is working on your floor, your wing of the hotel, bangs on the door despite the Do Not Disturb. Life on tour.
#slobbyists
don't want to screen because they are afraid you will do something to their job. The same slobbyist will think nothing of writing a bad review that threatens yours because he thinks you gained 5lbs or refused him BBFS. Both of our jobs matter just as much.
Why does the
#provider
require a deposit? Because she sells blocks of time. No shows mean no money. She's running a business. This is her living. "Oh sorry, I can't make it" whether from a new or previous client doesn't put food on the table. This is why.
I understand giving personal information in
#screening
to a
#provider
can make a gentleman feel vulnerable. Please consider however, how vulnerable the provider feels. She is answering the door to a perfect stranger often mostly naked, and letting him in her room and her body
This was a question that could not be answered without taking a major risk before SESTA/FOSTA. Recent legislation has only made this much worse. Never ever answer this question under any circumstances. Be safe. Disengage with him immediately.
A frequent occurrence is the random dude that contacts providers demanding free pics. There is zero reason to send some random dude your pics. The pics in your advertising are always sufficient. There is zero reason to give a dude pics. Especially ones that you no longer control
Gentleman have asked why does a provider or her screener need his Date of Birth. It's not to steal your identity or harm you. It is because searching most malmale names brings up a long list of criminal records of various men w/same name. We need to know you aren't them.
For those who get nervous before industry events, just remember:
Meeting you will be the highlight of a colleague's experience.
Everyone is someone's hero.
On most provider's websites/advertising there are usually a series of rules & requirements. The provider has a reason for what she is requiring. That reason applies to everyone including the "ya but" dudes who think no means argue and try to convince her to waive rules for him.
Gentleman, please be respectful of the fact that you aren't the provider's only client. Expecting her full attention during a session is totally appropriate. Expecting a provider to correspond extensively with you off the clock isn't. She does have other clients and a life.
In response to concerns that the Provider Safety' services may no longer be available due to SESTA/FOSTA, an important message. Provider Safety will remain fully operational. We are making some adjustments but we absolutely will remain in business and fully effective.
To a specific gentleman. Sir, In your case I am pleased to disclose the process I used to uncover info you didn't think I could find. Please type the following into your browser. That's all I needed. Feel free to ask them about their privacy policies.
I just ransacked the house looking for a hair tie.
Eventually found one.

Sometimes men will try a variety of reasons to convince you to do something without protection. Test results aren't ever a valid method of determining safety. Promises of safety aren't either. When he argues he can't get what he needs unless you work unsafe. Say no and bye bye.

is the act of removing a condom during sex without the consent of the partner. It's illegal in many countries, and is a form of sexual assault.
This is such a constant. Many guys "can't" screen because their wife might find out. Screening is mandatory. We see as many guys in a day as many clients see providers in a year. The risks are different. It's up to you to be careful that your wife doesn't find out.

Some times I think we can all fall into the trap of doubting or ignoring the red flags. Especially if money is tight or when new to the industry. Never feel bad for listening to your instinct and turning a potential client down. Red flags are instinct. Instinct keeps you safe.
He is offering a written agreement to pay her medical bills up to $5000 in exchange for a written agreement to allow him to be violent in his "authentic rape scenario". There is no amount of money that is worth the risk and harm of this. He is a serial predator of providers
Do not let a number define you. You are not your follower count, the emails on a subscription list, average bookings a week, dress size, bank account.
Define yourself by what you do when no one is looking.
For every sex worker who has been
Violated
Stigmatized
Censored
Criminalized
We fight
We use our voice
We stand together
We become an army
Because we are the future
Today's inspiration comes from discussion from the last few days. You are hiring her exclusively for her time. Nothing else. Don't fail yourself by asking questions that can not be answered. Everyone want's to be safe.
A year ago Provider Safety was just screening & just me (Laura). I am so excited and proud that a year later we are a whole team of professionals with so many great services to offer! Our forthcoming new website launches this week with all of the details as we become PS Group
To every sex worker:
When the world says you are nothing, you can't achieve it and you won't amount to anything...
I challenge you to say just 2 words.
"WATCH ME"
I often see in various threads gentleman asking or discussing what they believe the reason for providers screening is. Some ask if the purpose is to gather fodder to blacklist men out of spite. We screen to be safe and to offer safe services. It isn't revenge based it's safety
