My work is intuitive. This is partly nature, partly nurture. I feel that over analysis & timid execution is antithetical to effective art-making. The best stuff FLOWS. Yes, do your prep work and your thumbnails and your studies, but once you’re in it… COMMIT!

You don’t ‘think’ your way into making art. You FEEL it. You engage with it. It’s not a mental exercise. I’ve never understood work that requires an essay to explain how good it is. There’s an inverse relationship between the amount of words needed to justify art & quality.
