I feel sorry for Antonio Brown. He’s been blessed with amazing talent but he’s lost track of the fact that football is a team game. So is life. He thinks he’s the victim but he’s missing out on the real joy that comes from being part of a team. He’ll be the big loser in the end!
2 days ago I spoke on behalf of a Florida bill that supports dads & families and it offended some people. 14 yrs ago Pres Obama said the same things almost verbatim. I’m assuming people were outraged at him too. I am serving the Lord so I’ll keep supporting dads and families.🙏🏽🙏🏽
I hate to break this to you SportsCenter but Coco Gauff was not “soaking it all in” at this moment. She was praying. She has been very open about her Christian faith in the past. It seems pretty obvious what she is doing here.
As I have watched the events in Minneapolis unfold the last few days I have wondered & prayed about how I should respond. Below are my thoughts. I hope you read the whole thing because the final thought is most important. Romans 12:21 🙏🏽
This morning I woke up discouraged with what is going on in our country. But one of my bible study brothers encouraged me with this scripture. “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Gal 6:9
This is an unbelievable testimony. This man is living out the gospel of Jesus Christ which goes against everything in our human nature. This could only happen by the power of the Holy Spirit and because he absolutely believes he will see his brother again. Powerful!
BREAKING: In stunning moment, Botham Jean's brother embraces Amber Guyger after her sentencing for his brother's murder.
"I don't even want you to go to jail. I want the best for you, because I know that's exactly what Botham would want."
NBC pays me to express my opinion. And it was my opinion that Nick Foles would play well because his Christian faith would allow him to to play with confidence. And that he’s a good QB. I think I was right on both counts.
Concerning the Dallas Cowboys—let’s forget the last play and the clock. How about giving up 169 yds rushing, giving up 5 sacks, completing less than 60% of their passes, running for only 77 yds, and committing 14 penalties?? That’s more concerning than the last 14 seconds.
Tomorrow Lauren and I will be in Washington DC attending the 2023 March For Life. It will be my first time at the March and I’m looking forward to joining my friend
@BenjaminSWatson
and thousands of others who will be there to support those unborn babies who don’t have a voice.
2000 years ago Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early Sunday to finish anointing Jesus’ body. What she saw that morning changed everything for all Christians. Jesus was not in the tomb. He is alive! -John 20:18. Happy Easter!
I’m sorry Mr Lemon but just who “admitted” that Jesus Christ was not perfect here on earth? Not anyone who believes the Bible. Not anyone who trusts in Jesus as their savior. I’m not sure the point you’re making but your premise is dead wrong. That was the point in Jesus coming!
“Jesus Christ, if that’s who you believe, if that’s who you believe in, admittedly was not perfect when he was here on this earth.”
Prominent leftists don’t understand even the most basic aspects of the most basic things we believe.
This past week I posted a tweet that I subsequently deleted. I issued an apology but not everyone saw it. So I am reposting my apology here. As a Christian I want to be a force for love to everyone. A force for healing and reconciliation-not for animosity.
Last week in the final minutes of play a penalty was called on DJ Moore for taking his helmet off on the field. We were told it was correct call. This week the same crew did not call a penalty on Jalen Ramsey in the final minutes. What will we be told about this non-call?
What are the Texans doing. What kind of operation is this where you don’t have any convictions about supporting the coaches you hire. Who is going to want to coach there if you might only get one year to implement your plans. Two years in a row is ridiculous.
To all the people saying the refs shouldn’t have called holding on the Eagles with 1:50 left—that’s like saying they shouldn’t have called the Chiefs D for being offsides on 4th-2. Penalties are penalties whenever they’re committed. If you see it you have to call it. Even in a SB
I got to witness the first time Warrick Dunn surprised a single mom with a new home when he was playing for the Bucs. More than 20 years and over 170 homes later he is still doing it. We in the media won’t tell stories like this often enough!
Please NFL do us a favor and don’t let coaches challenge any more Pass Interference calls. You’re causing teams to lose time outs, making your officiating department look inept, and making us fans feel stupid—like we don’t know the meaning of clear, obvious and significant!
Jesus was taken down off the cross on Friday afternoon and buried by Joseph and Nicodemus. At sundown all work stopped to observe the Sabbath. Saturday was filled with grief because everyone assumed Jesus’ mission was over. But it was just beginning. John 19:40-42
After clinching a spot in the AFC Championship game,

Head Coach John Harbaugh started his postgame press conference by reading 1 Chronicles 29:11 👏
Over the last few weeks we have focused on America’s faults. We must work to improve those things but today we should celebrate our country’s birthday. We enjoy a lot of blessings and I’m thankful I live in America. I pray that God will show us how to help our country grow! 🙏🏽
The best news we could ever hear. “Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying.”
Matthew 28:5-6 NLT
We’ve said people should be able to exercise their right to kneel during the National Anthem and we should listen & hear their reasons why. When Jonathan Isaac chooses to stand we should do the same. He explained his reasons very clearly-he wants to stand in prayer. I say Amen!🙏🏽
After a Saturday of disappointment and grief Mary Magdalene goes to the tomb Sunday morning & discovers that Jesus’ body is not there. She tells Peter & John who go to investigate. Two angels tell Mary that Jesus has risen from the dead. Now His mission is complete. John 20:1-18
Woke up this morning to the devastating news that my friend Franco Harris passed away during the night. One of the kindest, gentlest men I have ever known. He was a great person & great teammate. Hall of Fame player but so much more than that. A tremendous role model for me!
Our son Jason heard the message at church
@GFCFlorida
this morning and wanted to show his faith in Christ by getting baptized. We are excited for him and proud of him. This really is a Super Sunday for Jason! Romans 10:9-10🙏🏽
CBS took a big gamble 53 years ago when they let Linus speak from the Bible in prime time TV. But when he told Charlie Brown the true meaning of Christmas it was refreshing and well received. It’s still one of the best gospel presentations ever!
These comments by Josh Allen prove to me that Romans 8:28 is true-God can use all things—even devastating things—for good. I think Damar Hamlin’s injury got a lot of people’s attention. I’m praying for Damar’s full recovery & that more people see what Josh saw—That God is real!
"I’ll be the first to admit, I haven’t been the most devoted Christ-follower in my life ... but something got hold of me there, and it was extremely powerful, [something] that I couldn’t deny.”

It all comes down to what you believe about the organism growing inside the mother. Is it a life or not? If it is just growing tissue then your “choice” makes sense. If it’s a life then it’s obviously not OK to choose to end it. What does your Bible tell you it is? Psalm 139:16
As a pro-choice pastor, I’ve always believed that a patient's room is way too small for a woman, her doctor, and the United States government.
I'll always fight to protect a woman's right to choose. And that will never change.
After all the celebrations and confetti Justin caught up with the 3 Eagles QBs Nick Foles, Carson Wentz & Nate Sudfeld along with Zach Ertz who scored the winning TD. They were in a room by themselves—praying and thanking God. It was great for him to see that.
Congratulations to the Clemson Tigers. They played a great game tonight and brought home the National Championship. I love Coach Swinney’s leadership and the fact that he’s not afraid to let people know he uses Christian principles to guide the program.
Congratulations to the Eagles. Nick Foles told me last week that he felt the Lord had him in Philadelphia for a special moment and he played like it tonight.
Haven’t read the article but I can tell you there is NO excuse big enough to justify this. It’s one thing to go back on your word to an organization. But having assistant coaches leave jobs to go with you then leave them out to dry is indefensible. For COMFORT??
The officials were determined to ignore every violation when the ball was in play and only call false starts, delay of game and taunting. They maintained that posture for 58 minutes and 39 seconds. Then they started officiating. That was bad.
“Lord right now our land is sick and we need healing. We need healing physically, emotionally, spiritually, racially, and economically. Your word says if we pray you will heal our land. But first WE have to repent and turn back to you. Lord I pray that will happen. We need you!”
Chiefs can not blame this first half on the refs. When you punch guys in the face after the play, line up offside, and get beat deep and flail at receivers penalties are going to get called.
Our NBC rules analyst Terry McAulay says according to the written rule this should not have been called a penalty because Moore was not on the field when he took off his helmet.
The Carolina Panthers were penalized after scoring a TD in the last minute. DJ Moore took his helmet off and a flag was thrown. Panthers missed the extra point and lost in OT. But Moore was off the field when he removed his helmet.
@NFLOfficiating
was this call correct?
Last night was a very tough night in America. We need something to bring us together. We need empathy. We need to listen. And we need to care about each other. Even those we might disagree with. “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Romans 12:21 NIV
I’m walking this morning on Neptune Beach. I’ve walked here before-there’s a bridge about 2 miles away but’s it’s dark & foggy and I can’t see it. But I’m going to keep walking because I KNOW it’s there. It hit me that’s what God wants us to do-keep coming to Him no matter what.
Still shaking my head at non-Pass Interference call in the last minute of the 49ers-Seahawks game. NFL Office put us through a season of inconsistent reversals but this is what the rule was supposed to fix-missed call that impacted playoff spots of 4 teams. Why have review??
I’m sorry to disagree with you but “Christian” is always going to trump EVERYTHING else in my life. I’m proud of African heritage. I’m proud to be an American. But my first allegiance is to Jesus Christ. So doing it the Lord’s way was most important to me.
On Sunday we were told that
“unnecessarily throwing the quarterback to the ground”was a penalty. On Monday it wasn’t. NFL officiating office please tell us which interpretation is correct??
Another player I caught up with last night at Peyton’s HOF party—Tom Brady. Nothing but class! Taking a day to leave training camp to be there shows the love and respect they have for each other. We were competitors on the field but I have ultimate respect for Tom as well!
These Pass Interference reviews by NFL officiating are not making any sense. Clear DPIs last week not overturned. Clear push off by Antonio Brown does not get overturned but Minnesota TD pass gets called back due to blocking downfield. Not sure what the standard is right now.
I’m sorry Joe but Chuck Noll won 4 Super Bowls and he saw his kids more than once a week. Jim Caldwell and I took the Colts to 2 Super Bowls and I promise you we saw our kids more than once a week. To be an NFL coach does take commitment but not everyone has to do it like that.
Hard to believe but these two ex-Rams will go at it as the starting QBs in the NFC Championship Game. But they are both strong Christians with a lot of faith and now they’re one step away from the Super Bowl!
I woke up this morning & really felt led to pray for our country. We’re in a difficult place and everyone is looking for answers. Can we come together in love and in respect? Sometimes it seems like that’s impossible but it is possible-If we let the LOVE of Christ work-Mark 10:27
Big shoutout to Mike Daniels of the Green Bay Packers. He just donated $100,000 to the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital at the Pat Summerall Dinner. His heart set the tone for a record breaking evening of fund raising.
Jordan is headed to Publix for his first day of work. He knows the risk involved but really wants to help people get their groceries. We’re praying for his safety and trusting God will honor his heart and protect him. It makes us thankful for all those who are serving us as well.
That may be the worst defensive design I’ve ever seen with 8 seconds and no timeouts left. Green Bay—I’m not sure how you play inside technique man to man and nit just play zone and protect the sideline and the end zone? Amazing.
Our son Jordan is one of those she was talking about. He has a genetic disease. We were told he wouldn’t make it past early childhood & no chance to live a normal life. He’s now 20 yrs old, in college working to be a chef. Only God knows what children will be able to do.

In 1957 Mike Wallace(father of Fox News’ Chris Wallace)interviewed Margaret Sanger,founder of
@PPFA
.
She told him what she saw as the greatest sin in the world is.
She also couldn’t say that infidelity is a sin😐
This is rotten root of Planned Parenthood.
Asante while you played some great football in the 2000’s you obviously don’t know much about football that was played in the 80s & 90s. Darrell Green played on the outside, not as a nickel. He traveled with the best receiver and was a TOP ECHELON CB for almost 2 decades!!
With all do respect can someone explain to me why Darrell Green is considered a great? He played 19 years and was mostly a nickel back. 54 INT’s in 19 years. Talk to me????
Congratulations to Peyton Manning on being selected to the NFL Top 100 Team. Selecting only 10 QBs is almost impossible but he surely deserves to be on any list. I saw it first hand for 7 years and he was phenomenal
I didn’t understand that last defensive call by the Bucs. All out blitz??? Why not just sit back let them complete a 15 yd pass in bounds and the game would go to overtime. I don’t understand???!
Ok College Football Selecrion Committee. Let me see what you think now. Minnesota is undefeated and just beat the Number 4 team. What does that mean???!
I’m on my morning walk on Miami Beach. Everyone preparing for SB LIV. But the beauty of the morning reminded me of my mom’s favorite bible verse. “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?” Matt 16:26. Great reminder to keep God 1st-even on SB Sunday
As I walked this morning I thanked God for how He has watched over Damar Hamlin. I couldn’t help but think of Romans 8:28 and God working through a tragedy to help unify us. Over the last week I think we have realized that life is too important to let differences separate us🙏🏽
Frank Reich was with me at the end of my tenure with the Colts. He has a creative offensive mind. He’s a great communicator and a high quality person. The Colts are in great hands.

Since we are not able to attend our church service this morning we decided to make a visual presentation of Palm Sunday for our kids. When Jesus entered Jerusalem He was honored as royalty—hence the purple and the palm branches—but by the end of the week everything would change.
Hats off to the Pittsburgh Steelers defense. They shut down the Rams today and only gave up 3 points. The Rams could not block their front. Rams gave up 4 sacks, had numerous holding penalties and went 1/14 on 3rd down. Vintage Steel Curtain.
The NFL officiating people need to stop with this narrative that these Offensive Tackle false starts are hard to see in real time. Everyone in America watching on TV can see them. If the D-lineman is just slightly ahead of the snap they call it offside every time. But not on Off?
After two nights of sorrow and confusion the disciples awoke today and discovered what had really happened. Their disappointment turned to triumph as they understood what had actually happened—Jesus was killed but rose from the dead!
Was
@CutonDime25
watching this game. Dak 23-30-256 yds & 3 TDs. He threw 2 INTs. The first one his arm was hit as he threw. The second one was right in the receiver’s hands. Dallas defense gave up 503 yds and 40 points. And the loss is all on Dak. Really???
This Saturday the University of Minnesota Gophers look for their 9th win of the season against Penn State. This is probably the biggest Gopher football game in the last 50 years. I’m expecting a great home crowd and a lot of noise as we continue to “Row The Boat.” Go Gophers!
Great scene after the big win by the University of Minnesota. It has been a long time since we’ve won a meaningful game like this but the celebration is well deserved. The Gophers outplayed Penn State today and looked very impressive.
I applaud the Governor of Louisiana for his boldness in asking people to join him in a fast and time of prayer. It’s not “politically correct” but in times of trouble we have to do what we think is best. So thanks to Gov Edwards for following your heart in leading your state🙏🏽
Just a note for Eagles fans. In 2005 when I was coaching the Colts we beat the Steelers in Week 12 26-7 in a game we totally dominated. Steelers came back to Indy in Divisional round and beat us and went on to win Super Bowl XL. Playoffs are a new season. We’ll see what happens.
“I don’t believe in the prosperity Gospel. I believe if you read the word of God and you understand it, there’s trials along the way but they equip your heart to be who you are.”

While Democrats are currently arguing in favor of late-term abortions if the baby has an “abnormality,” John Franklin Stephens makes a powerful argument against that:

Memphis coach Penny Hardaway assisted Wiseman and his family's move to Memphis in 2008, attorney Leslie Ballin said in a news conference --- and the NCAA has deemed Hardaway a booster.
We are not only celebrating Juneteenth but
@LaurenDungy
and I also celebrating our anniversary today. Looking forward to sharing a special day with the love of my life, a great wife and a tremendous mom.
CBS Pregame Show just showed Whitney Houston’s rendition of the National Anthem at SB XXV during the Gulf War. It is still electric 30 years later. Still brings tears to my eyes.
Watching so many of these games come down to one possession or one play it is really crazy how Pass Interference is called so inconsistently. Bears were penalized on a questionable call in the 4th Qtr but didn’t get this one??
Blessing in disguise was a poor choice of words by me. It’s not a blessing for Dak. What I meant was that for the Cowboys the season is not over. Andy Dalton is very capable and changing the focus back to Elliott could help the defense. But I feel very badly for Dak.
That’s incredible. The Lions DB is trying to make an interception. He is playing the ball all the way and gets an unnecessary roughness penalty. Hard to believe.
In his message this morning Pastor asked a great question: If salvation & eternal life is so important to us why don’t we share the way to heaven with more people? Do we not care about our friends or do we really not believe our message? If we care & we believe we need to share.
I’m not talking to the Supreme Court, the general public, or anyone who doesn’t believe the Bible. If you don’t believe the Bible I get it. I’m talking to the “Christian pastor” who professes to follow the Bible but thinks we’re free to “choose” when to end another person’s life.
Edgerrin was worth every penny he was paid by the Cardinals that year. We went with Joseph Addai & Domenic Rhodes and got 1722 yds rushing from them. We saved a ton of money and used savings to sign Dwight Freeney, Reggie Wayne & Dallas Clark to long term deals. Economic reality.
The chew them up/spit them out approach to RBs is unfortunate but not new. In 2006, the Colts let Edgerrin James walk away after a franchise-tag 1,500-yard season. They drafted Joseph Addai to replace him, and they won the Super Bowl that same year.
One of the most phenomenal young men I have ever been around. He has been a blessing to anyone who has ever come in contact with him. Warrick understands what the Bible says about using the gifts God has given you to help others.
I have an idea for NFL replay of catch-no catch. Get a panel of 10 third graders. Let them look and ask them “Did he catch it or not?” Give them 5 seconds to respond. Thumbs up or thumbs down? I think we would have more consistent results. 😀
I’m sorry but the deep officiating in the Seattle Rams game has been horrendous. Big game changing calls on holding and pass interference that have not even been close to being right. Hard to imagine officials being that far off.
Brady and Gronk have been great but the Bucs had an excellent plan on both sides of the ball. You have to credit Byron Leftwich & Todd Bowles. They learned a lot from the first game and their adjustments tonight were superb. Kept Chiefs off balance all night. Masterful coaching!
I came away from Arrowhead stadium last night very impressed with the Chiefs. Their defense played fast and their offense is so diverse. Mahomes puts pressure on you in so many ways and the home crowd is a big lift. I’m picking them to win next week no matter who they play.
The Bible spoke about this thousands of years ago. “What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.”
Isaiah 5:20 NLT
Activist and musician Viva Ruiz's mission to put more "Christian pro-abortion propaganda” into the world continues with her "Thank God for Abortion Anthem"

If you want some insight into the National Anthem kneeling controversy, watch this. If you’ve already made up your mind that kneeling is disrespectful and facts and history won’t change your mind there’s no need to watch.
‘I can think of nothing more American.’ — Beto O'Rourke — the man taking on Ted Cruz — brilliantly explains why NFL players kneeling during the anthem is not disrespectful
