Living in South Tipp in an area steeped in Republican History, every turn of the road, boithrin, ruins has a story ,often only known by a few. This is where Sean Hogans Column crossed the road on their first march under arms 101 years ago in a few weeks time. Crann na mhon.

We still have vast estates owned by the famiies of 'Cromwells soldiers, and worse still not even 'our rivers run free' with the fishing rights on the Blackwater owned by one such family, right out into Youghal harbour. How did this not change after the 'Tan' war and 'Civil' war. ?
