Yea my local mall rules its basically just a flea market in a mall and the food court is really nice, i straight up dont think theres anywhere else like it in the states considering most of these malls just get condemmed

Can’t speak for elsewhere but one mall here in my city turned into a community college campus while another was transformed into a series of small mom and pop shops surrounding an ice rink because nobody wanted to get rid of that

There's one near me like this. They hold mini anime, toy, and horror conventions all the time. There are also little shops that do niche stuff

The mall in the town I live in is like this! Only a couple stores like a pawn shop and a thrift store but the food court is always in business and Saturdays there’s an organized flea market

the mall in my college town still has some shops, but since its not that many anymore they host various pop-up markets and conventions throughout the building too! its really fun

there’s one like this where i used to live with only one dillard’s and nothing else. but it’s all still open, you can just go walk around through all the dead space. it’s weird as hell

I had a local mall that was like that for a while but they eventually closed the whole thing cause it was literally sinking into the earth
