I don’t recommend giving up your job until you have at least 2-3 years salary in savings AND then get a part time job or side hustle. Because you will quickly realise that you only need to trade 2 hours a day so a good disciplined routine is required to fit around trading.

One of the reasons I do not suffer FOMO is because in 21 years of trading I’ve discovered that almost every player in this game fails to keep the money they’ve made. A persons 15 minutes of fame does not excite me. I assume, usually correctly, they will end with nothing.

Update: passed 2 accounts and the 5 Apex’s but the ftmo one FRUSTRATED MY LIFE today. it missed my TP by a few pips 🥹I only needed $20 but ended up losing $1000 🙈 Now only need 0.5% to get over the finish line. Painful lesson learnt not to be impulsive & to follow the plan.

@HopeKTrades Yeah I believe Matt mentioned a $300k account. That's $6k a day. x3 days p/w is $18k. very easy for me - especially with the cap which prevents you from going back to give it back, and daily pause prevents you from blowing up quickly. I think its perfect👌✨
