Strive is similar to SF4 where it has this simple gameplay foundation upon release but becomes crazy technical as the days go by. I hope ArcSys does not nerf the cool things in Strive and let chars / RC system run amok.

Learning a fighting game is like learning an instrument. You pick a game/instrument you like and you figure out how to execute/play notes. Can take hours, days, weeks, etc but you will understand that learning this skill is what keeps you motivated to challenge yourself.

FGC: Whenever a new game drops, you are the main ambassadors to grow your scenes. Why would you ever put an exclusive elitist club where only good players matter? If you want more ppl to play, show them why your game/scene is the best. Everybody starts as a casual/newbie.

These games are making the soft, softer lol. This is a dangerous timeline and a loop you don't want to be in. To get out of this soft ass loop, you need to start throwing blames on yourselves. If you want to win, you must put in the time. Don't just play when it's convenient.

Players going to offline events, you know what you signed up for. No PC tournament stations. Only consoles in 2021 & most likely all of 2022. Do not give your TO shit about the setups. They are doing their best providing you what is feasible during these challenging times.

NRS players: No more pause and rematch on tournament stream matches. You kill the hype, don’t give commentary time to analyze, and you piss off the producers(miss crucial shots and fuck up scoreboards). Offstream quick rematch is fine.

For years, many players voice their concerns on Twitter first before going to the organizer. Online or Offline. Don't do this anymore please. If the TO neglects your concerns, then do what you think is right afterwards. Give organizers a chance to assist your concerns first.

I’ve said online tourneys are the future for over a decade. Online community is 1st contact to competitive FGC since the death of arcades. Yes, netplay is trash for some games, but today’s champions all use it to train. They play through it & reap the rewards. Get over yourself.
