FFXIV is only "difficult" because the classes are needlessly complex and the raids are bloated with mechanics. WoW difficulty is more genuine since it's based on gear checks, while FFXIV difficulty is artificial since it's gatekeeped by skill.

Most of the time people who are anti plugin / dps meter are more toxic than those who use them and impact no ones gameplay. This goes for every mmo not just FFXIV. PvP sure but thats a minigame in every MMO. The made up stories I hear from ppl who don't use them is hilarious.

Blizzard ripped 11000 hotfixes today for WoW for language filters all at once and ended up ddosing their own servers and causing a bunch of ppl to get booted out. This ended up killing a bunch of hardcore players in Season of Mastery.

Halondrus went from one of the worst bosses on PTR to one of the best bosses on live obviously too difficult but what an amazing encounter also me and @Imfiredup are bomb protectors 10/10 fight I love a fight where I can do a mechanic every single time and keep it in control.

Wait till season 2 of M+ when people find out the first boss of brackenhide has a three way cross cc mechanic that blinds your tank, ccs your healer, and roots a dps with a charge the tank has to intersect. But the healer has to be broken out of the hex totem to dispel.

People don't hate grinds in MMOs, people hate grinds that are daily locked or weekly locked. Look at torghast in 9.1 vs 9.1.5. You go into torghast get you want and get out versus before you dreaded monday / tuesday getting those 2 torghast runs in. Let people grind the reps.

Ignoring how OP destro is mostly due to extremely high haste levels due to azerite and essences The AoE Cap has to be one of the worst things ever implemented. IN no way is it okay for some classes to be doing tank / healer damage on certain pulls. Tol Dagor 1st room 20+

Fun fact when you make a raid grp and you see 2/2/6 or 2/3/9 or 2/4/12 these are all made up values and are not boss breakpoints you are better off inviting 2/x/x because player skill matters much more than a completely made up number when a boss scales linearly per player

People love to say 16hr headstart but this tier is by far the worst example of it since every boss we reach simply gets nerfed a few hrs into it because its straight up unkillable and buggy. A real shame I feel like this race has no winners.

Jailer is Azshara 2.0 and not in a good way. Line of Sight Alternate health bar you have to deal with Mind controls Pets having bad AI because of LoS Azerite LoS and mind controls are always bad mechanics. Stop using them.

GGs was fun tier with the shorter fights wish it was a bit harder but the fact the fights are short and quick is kind of cool would rather have 50 mechanics in 1 min over 10 mechanics in 1 min if it means a 7 min fight

I think one of the actual worst changes this xpac is the bringing in of more raid buffs and the removal of scrolls / nerfing drums to 15% instead of 25% haste. Legion was really fun because there was no raid buffs / external power sources and you could play your class 100%.

Literally ever other mmo has the same telegraphs / options but WoW doesn't. Red / Blue telegraphs for ground mechanics regardless of the spell animation The ability to disable other players spell effects besides helpful abilities like priest barrier Examples: Wow vs Lost Ark

I like how in TBC classic they decided that Seal of Blood/Vengeance being faction specific was dumb because 1 was just better and you don't get to choose but they don't realize that with covenants.
