Wow surprisingly tough Sunday. First the news about Tim Wakefield, and now just learned of the passing of Jack Amero, who built a dynasty in the 1980s and 90s coaching girls soccer at Manchester West High School. RIP old friend.

Very sad to learn of the passing of Vermont Lake Monsters manager Pete Wilk after a courageous battle with cancer. Wilk,the former longtime Georgetown University head coach,was a great asset for the Futures Collegiate League. Condolences to his family and the FCBL.
