I've got a quick update on the MiSTer board after a few more days of testing (and gaming). Verified to work: -Direct_video -2048x1536 HDMI (looks amazing) -Analog IO Board: VGA/SNAC/3.5mm -USB HUB (req. A-to-C + pwr) Need to test: -RTC -Digital IO Board w/ Dual RAM

-The price would be based on interest with a potential range of $25-$50. -This is not a difficult mod to do. -HDMI output is a potential feature, but it would be capped at 720p.

And here we go The Mig Switch Dumper just arrived. Thankfully, I had plenty of time to buy all the Switch games I was holding out on before the used market turns into the Wild West. Cart clones for games with a high resell value probably aren't too far off.

The $99 MiSTer board is wrapping up routing on the 1.2 retail version. It also has a name! (I'll share it after the board is made) Changes: -N/F 2-pin 5v power connector near the DC jack -N/F 4-pin USB header between USB Type C & A -A port moved <- inside (case compatibility!!)

It won't be practical for a large library of games on the card, but MIG Switch can cycle through game dumps on the SD by reinserting it quickly. Excuse the camera shake and car noises, I'm sitting in the back of a taxi.

Here's a picture of the $115 setup without a sticker on top. This board uses 1.5-2W less than the official DE10. It runs on 5v/12v. The first picture should be 5.4W w/ Sonic 2. The second is the same game and RAM on the DE10. (007 can run at less than 7W on the clone)

This was shared, but there will be a console version of this with a different PCB layout with most of the existing MiSTer add-ons integrated + one big surprise. It looks amazing! MiSTer handheld after followed by two cheaper consoles with less io/features. Great time for FPGA.

@naramakesgames @retro_dodo Of course, but making a moral argument about how people shouldn't support a company that clones hardware makes no sense. At the end of the day, the thing they are cloning steals the IP from thousands of developers. If you want to take the high road, you shouldn't support either.
