WE HAVE STEVEN WIGGINS IN CUSTODY! Wiggins was wanted for the murder of Dickson County Sheriff’s Ofc. Sgt. Daniel Baker. Trooper Kevin Burch of the THP Lawranceburg District was the arresting officer. Trooper Burch joined THP in 2017. Wiggins was taken into custody in Hickman CO.

We are sad to inform you of the passing of THP K-9 Rico. He was a beautiful nine year old Belgian Malinois. Surgery was performed after a tumor was detected in his abdomen. Unfortunately due to complications he passed. Rico was a tremendous friend & partner. He is deeply missed.

Earlier this week Trooper Jeff Fuller had to lay his K-9 partner Max, and family member to rest. It was a hard decision, but trooper Fuller knew that Max would no longer be in pain. Max was diagnosed with throat cancer about 6 months ago and it finally took its toll. RIP Max.

On June 21st, 2022 Trooper Tudors found this little puppy in a very desperate situation. He rescued her, took her to the vet and then later adopted her on June 29th. We are happy to share that Princess is doing great and loves her forever home with Trooper Tudors. @THPChattanooga

Through snow, ice & rain, troopers have been out working to help motorists. By the end of their shifts troopers were wet, cold & possibly hungry. But they wouldn’t have it any other way. Service before self is how they operate. Thank you troops for all you did and continue to do.
