Went D3 and we had 6am lifts, class, then 3-4 hour practices. Wish people wouldn’t put it out like D1 athletes do so much more than any other college level

Coach Leach had heart problems, but it still serves as a reminder... Coaches, take care of yourselves. Walk, run, lift, hoop. Something. A lot of fitness ticking time bombs in this profession. Model behaviors and stay around for your teams and families.

Recruits, it's not "crunch time" nor should you be in a hurry. Players, at all levels, commit far later in their senior year than now. Rushed decisions are rarely right decisions. Take a deep breath; you have plenty of time.

I'm irrationally upset about the death of DMX. A perfectly imperfect man who did not hide his flaws, but shared them to help others. Way more than just a rapper. NOTHING ELSE ever hit like DMX showing up for a guest verse. One of the GREATS.

Too much emphasis on free educations is feeding the "D1 or bust" that everyone is railing against. Free degrees are limited; start to emphasize VALUE if free isn't in the cards. Great educations, and ball, w/minimal cost/debt are out there too!

All my 207 prospects from the c/o 24: We're in Vermont, but we start 7 Mainers, with even more in our 2 deep depth. 2 of our captains are Maine guys. Through 3 games, every offensive point has been scored by a 207 dude. Continue the tradition; come here and stand out!
