Today I found out he apparently medically transitioned at 28, which makes Buck's post make more sense in that it explains why he wants to force children through natal puberty regardless of the result.

@MailOnline
Let me be even clearer, forcing trans people through puberty that doesn't align with who they are doesn't lower gender dysphoria.
Example: My top dysphoria cannot be solved with testosterone.
@dootdootootdoot
@MailOnline
The act of not preventing an inevitable outcome is still forcing. It's making someone (trans people) do something (going through puberty) against their will.
And no dodging the point I made, you cannot solve/treat/etc my top dysphoria with testosterone. You claim it can.
@Tacomylo
@dootdootootdoot
@MailOnline
Yes that was my point, I literally said it was inevitable.
We do however have medical options to temporarily prevent it, which can be beneficial in multiple cases.

@Eric_Biggz
John Money was a transphobe who thought gender identity is a social contagion, and that if you were treated as a certain gender you would think of yourself as that gender.
So he was on your guys side, not trans people.

"Well if I copy and paste your flag a few times and rotate them then it looks like that"
Meanwhile I don't need photoshop to see someone with a swastika standing next to you.

This is false, mostly
Detransition is incredibly rare firstly.
Puberty can lower dysphoria, but not how you claim. A wanted puberty (HRT) lowers dysphoria, unwanted puberty however increases it
@Templar736
@The_sigma_fem
Zero evidence for "AGP", the test of the guy who made it up also would have like 80% of cis women test "positive for AGP" sooooo.
Many women get euphoria for wearing a swimsuit they find cute, what do you think euphoria is?
@d3mizzy
@An_Aria_Blooms
No, in the ICD-11 gender dysphoria (Now diagnosed as Gender incongruence) is listed with conditions of sexual health not mental health.
And most people are not transphobic, sorry but the facts aren't on your side.
@1111AWOL
@atlaswuzhere
Cis comes from latin, it just means you aren't trans.
If you're cisgender your sex at birth and gender identity are on the same side as one of each other aka they match.
@sexisimmutable
@BrieRussell3
Being trans isn't a mental illness, and gender dysphoria is a medical condition.
It's not that complicated.
In fact there is only 2 ways in modern day to treat trans female top dysphoria
1. Augmentation (Quicker but surgical)
or
2. HRT (Slower but way more benefits)

"except in very rare circumstances where it's outweighed by the benefits". Gender incongruence (otherwise known as dysphoria) and precious puberty are both treated with this because it shows extremely well benefits for the child to pause for the time being until they are older.

All concept of language was invented by us to convey meaning.
I could say "all men who are not trans men" but that gets tiring to write, the adjective cis (or cisgender) accurately says it with less characters.
Overall makes the sentence more readable.

@BuckAngel
@heyitsnatalie00
Yes that's exactly how it works, puberty blockers act as a way (a pause button if you will) to stop puberty and if you go off blockers the blockers wont block anything so the previously blocked hormone goes back to causing puberty changes
@mushycrouton
@GenX_Lesbian
And same from lesbian side
Trans women who are sapphic are welcome in same spaces as cis sapphic women.
(I know some "sex realists" are gonna jump to this comment, what I said is statistically true).
