jersey to his press conference today.
“Recent friends. Good dude, he’s a good dude. Like his game. Thought I’d support him by wearing his jersey.”
Robert Woods said Jalen Ramsey got Odell Beckham Jr. on the phone on speaker prior to practice this morning for Rams players to make the final push to get him.

Sony Michel on the Rams' wide receivers as run blockers:
"I've never really been around a group of receivers that actually goes in and tries to, like, take people off the map. I mean, It's kind of cool."
Matthew Stafford on leading a game-winning drive:
"Steal somebody's soul. That's what it feels like sometimes where they're sitting there going, 'Man, we just had this great comeback,' and you get to reach in there and take it from them. That's a whole lot of fun."
Feeling so fortunate and grateful.
Bet on myself three years ago leaving a full-time job and moving more than 2,000 miles from home to join an NFL organization as a seasonal intern.
In a 13-month span: Hired on full-time and got to be part of a Super Bowl-winning team.
Rams DL Aaron Donald on how OLB Von Miller has impacted him:
"I always consider myself a leader, but more of a lead-by-example guy. One thing Von's been challenging me on a lot more with, just him talking to me, is being more vocal. Talking to guys, letting them hear my voice."
Aaron Donald told
@IAMATHLETEpod
that last season, he'd get to the facility at 6 or 7 morning, and Cooper Kupp and Matthew Stafford would already be there watching film together every day, before and after practice.
"They led me in a way. They don't even know that motivated me."
Whit: “Five years ago, I was told I was a little too old. I was told that maybe my time was done. And I tell you this for every single person sitting out there that's ever doubted anything you've ever done, bet on yourself, because five years later, I'm holding this trophy up.”
Matthew Stafford became a Ram a year ago today. In his first season:
• Tied a franchise record with 41 passing TDs
• Set a franchise record for passing yards in a single season with 4,886
• Led three-straight game-winning drives in playoffs, helping Rams win Super Bowl LVI

Kendall Blanton: 2019 undrafted free agent signee
Nick Scott: 2019 seventh-round pick

TE Kendall Blanton, S Nick Scott + LB Travin Howard continue to capitalize on their opportunities. ⤵️
Sean McVay: “These players and the ones that you love and care about so much, like the (Andrew) Whitworth’s of the world, the Aaron Donald’s, are really that easy extra motivation to make sure you’re doing everything in your power to try to help put them in good positions.”
One reason Kevin Dotson said he re-signed prior to hitting the open market was because the Rams didn't low-ball him at the start of negotiations. Them being honest about his value made it easy, and he felt they were respectful from the beginning to the end of that process.
Rams WR Cooper Kupp has his 10th-straight game with 90+ receiving yards, a new NFL record.
That breaks a tie with Hall of Famer Michael Irvin (1995) & current Rams teammate Odell Beckham Jr. (2014) for the longest such streak in the last 70 years, per
@NFLResearch
.

"He definitely would be a great piece to have back out there if he's able to go."
If you aren't watching Andrew Whitworth's Walter Payton Man of the Year acceptance speech live, I strongly encourage you to watch the replay once it's shared/published.
Also, not sure if it's a coincidence, but Cooper Kupp wore a Matthew Stafford jersey while signing his new contract on what happens to be National Best Friends Day.

"When I'm in there early in the morning in the weight room, I see him and Bobby (Wagner) in there every morning. He's attached to his hip right now, learning everything he can."
Cooper Kupp was asked if Odell Beckham Jr.'s TD celebrations are rubbing off on rest of the team. Kupp said part of him wants to bring back the "bob and weave." Kupp talked to Torry Holt (
@AllHands81
) about it, w/ Holt giving him a run-through of what it's supposed to look like.
QB Matthew Stafford on why he wanted to sign a long-term extension with Rams:
"I just had so much fun playing with this team this year, playing for this organization, this coaching staff, I wanted to make sure that I was able to do that for a long time."
Sean McVay also said the addition of Bobby Wagner is huge from a mentorship standpoint for Ernest Jones. McVay said one of the reasons the Rams drafted Jones was because he had traits and characteristics that reminded them of Wagner.
Rams QB Matthew Stafford on NFL Network's Schedule Release show, on the team's 2022 schedule:
"Being the defending champs, you're going to get everybody's best shot. We're playing a winner's schedule. ... It'll be a big challenge for us."
So with Aaron Donald No. 2, Cooper Kupp No. 4 and Jalen Ramsey No. 9, the Rams finish with the highest-ranked defender, wide receiver and defensive back on the
#NFLTop100
Players of 2022.
Great stuff from the Kelce brothers.
Jason on Aaron Donald: “He is the only defensive tackle we have ever gone up against where the entire game plan is situated on not having him ruin the game. The only one.”
Asked
@RamsNFL

Rams RB Kyren Williams:
"I'm in there to pass pro(tect), to catch the ball and run the ball, and do whatever (head) coach (Sean McVay) asks me to do. This is why I love the game of football, I love the game of being a running back and all the involvement I have in the offense."
Rams DT Aaron Donald said he reached out to Lions QB and former teammate Jared Goff on Tuesday and told him he was proud of him.
Said the two have a good relationship.
Rams head coach Sean McVay told SiriusXM/
@IAMATHLETEpod
Odell Beckham Jr. crashed his wedding this past weekend.
"The best part – I said, 'You crashed my wedding, you re-sign with the Rams then, man! I mean, that's a given right there!'"
After Sean McVay told Kyren Williams he was going to be resting/sitting against the 49ers, Williams said his first question was: “Am I still going to practice?”

Rams rookie wide receivers to record 100-plus receiving yards in a playoff game:
🏈 Torry Holt (109 yards in SB 34)
🏈 Puka Nacua (106 so far tonight)
End of list.
New Rams OLB Von Miller on joining a defensive front with Aaron Donald: “It’s incredible. You hear stories of the Fearsome Foursome, this legendary defense, you want to recreate that.”
On working w/ Cooper Kupp, Rams WR Allen Robinson said they're always talking through route concepts, different leverages of defensive backs, how routes are ran based on different leverages and different angles, how to create separation in a very specific and detailed approach.
One of the things I find special about this Rams season/roster is that it has produced candidates for Offensive Rookie of the Year, Defensive Rookie of the Year, Comeback Player of the Year, Coach of the Year and Executive of the Year.
All as part of a playoff-bound team.
