probably because is kinda unique and you can do actions in middle of a turn! (i love when games do this, yakuza 7 rpg mechanics are kinda similar to paper mario rpg mechanics and i love it)

nintendo is fully right to assume its fanbase has never played more than 3 rpgs
Nintendo didn't know who they were talking to when they sent me this survey....
I don't think it's the same Mario RPG survey that Europe received, but I'm still taking this seriously.
Where is the "I have played more than 100 RPG games before" option?

It's kinda funny how Paper Mario was intended to be a gateway for people to try new RPGs only for a decent amount of people who like Paper Mario go "I don't like any RPGs that aren't Paper Mario."
