The Prime Minister requires journalists to be vaccinated to attend his press conferences - Why should a barista in Brisbane be less safe at work than the Prime Minister?
BREAKING: Queensland just appointed Australia’s first Indigenous Supreme Court Judge, Warramunga man and North Queenslander, Lincoln Crowley.
A historic day for Queensland.
Scott Morrison keeps undermining Queensland and our vaccine rollout – we want people in Brisbane to get a coffee too, we just don’t want them to get COVID while they’re doing it.
Today Peter Dutton said I’m not allowed to advocate for Queensland and I should “stay silent” instead.
Thanks for the advice, but I won’t be doing that.
We’ve just bought this vacant hotel in South Brisbane to give homeless families a safe place to stay.
Because every Queenslander deserves a roof over their head.
A Queensland farmer is selling this 7kg watermelon by the side of the road for $10, because he can’t afford to sell it for the $4 he was offered by the supermarkets.
At the checkout, people are paying close to $20.
No one in Queensland, myself included, is laughing at this tragedy and for any news outlet to suggest so is disrespectful.
A family and a community is grieving. Sensational headlines and misrepresentations have no part to play in Queensland this week.
51% of all Victorians are fully vaccinated. 98% of all Victorians in ICU with COVID aren’t fully vaccinated.
Now’s the time to get vaccinated Queensland. We won’t be able to keep Delta out forever.
Just before the 2019 Federal Election, Scott Morrison promised to legislate a Federal ICAC.
Today, they confirmed it’s off the agenda.
They’ve had 3 years and did nothing about it.
We might not have needed the lockdown if you’d delivered the 4 million doses you promised by 31 March.
Maybe the new defence minister could help get our aged care workforce vaccinated?
@StevenJMiles
Laat time I checked the LNP voted for the abortion laws that you passed. The media may swallow your rubbish but thinking Queenslandera won't.
Tomorrow is Dr Jeannette Young's last day as our CHO before she is sworn in as Governor.
She always makes it clear that it’s a big team effort – and of course it is – but I want to particularly thank Dr Young for her continued dedication and contribution to our great State.
We’ve just bought this four-storey building in Fortitude Valley.
Brisbane Youth Service will use it to provide housing support for young people doing it tough.
We’ve just purchased 124 homes in this retirement village in Logan to be used as social housing.
This is just one way we are trying to help more Queenslanders into a home sooner.
You’d think on Easter Sunday the Morrison government could take a day off attacking our Premier.
Go eat some chocolate and read a book

BREAKING: A re-elected Palaszczuk Government will introduce Voluntary Assisted Dying laws in February of next year.
Queenslanders deserve to have choice regarding their final days, so first thing next year we’ll introduce laws to make it happen.
I’ll be voting for it.
The gap between what farmers get for their produce and what customers pay at the checkout is getting wider.
I’ve written to the big supermarkets asking them to explain why.
Happy Halloween!
Just remember the scariest thing that could happen today is Deb Frecklington becomes Premier and sacks 30,000 Queensland workers.

BREAKING: We're building a $750 million world-class Queensland Cancer Centre. It’ll be the only cancer care service in the country offering the full spectrum of cancer services in one place.
Queenslanders have made it clear to me they do not want to spend billions on new stadiums.
We will not demolish the Gabba.
We won’t be building a new mega stadium at Victoria Park either.
BREAKING: The Palaszczuk Government will build 118 new social & affordable homes on Brisbane’s northside as part of our $1 billion Housing Investment Fund.
I know some people dreamed I would back a $3.4 billion mega stadium for Brisbane.
I decided to put housing, hospitals and cost of living relief first.
It's the right thing to do.
We’ve secured vacant retirement villages in Clayfield, Logan, Redlands, Toowoomba, and Rothwell to house Queenslanders in need.
Because everyone deserves a place to call home.
@ScottMorrisonMP
: “The Federal Government has never sought to say to the Queensland Government that they should take their border down."
Forgets that time he went to the High Court to demand the Queensland Government take our border down.

Federal Government Ministers have once again lined up to attack Queensland over our COVID response.
They attacked our borders and they attacked our lockdowns. Now they’re attacking our vaccine progress, something THEY’RE responsible.

I don’t usually root for a New South Welshman, but I’ll make an exception here.
@ChrisMinnsMP
and NSW Labor are looking to end more than a decade of Liberal privatisation and cuts, it’s a story we know well from the LNP.
Good luck tonight, bring it home for the true believers
Nuclear is the most expensive form of energy, so why are the LNP pushing it?
We're sticking to our plan to make Queensland a clean energy powerhouse and create thousands of jobs.
BREAKING: We’re making electric vehicles more affordable for more Queenslanders with a $3000 subsidy (from 1 July) for anyone buying an EV up to $58,000🚗⚡️
The first stage of the Palaszczuk Government’s regional quarantine facility at Wellcamp has been completed construction and is almost ready to take the first arrivals in 2022 💪
1/3 Queensland is running out of the Pfizer vaccine, with demand far outstripping what the Commonwealth has provided.
This week we wrote to the Commonwealth Government and asked them to provide us with more, as they did in Victoria.

We built this facility on the Gold Coast to give young people experiencing homelessness a safe place to stay.
It's called a Youth Foyer.
We're delivering eight more around the state as part of the Homes for Queenslanders plan.
If the LNP won’t condemn Craig Kelly, I will.
He’s undermining our health response by taking studies out of context and dismissing the effectiveness of masks in stopping the spread.
Equating mask use to child abuse is nothing short of disgraceful.

I’m in awe at the courage of Hannah Clarke’s parents Sue and Lloyd.
Thanks to them and other advocates, coercive control will now be a crime in Queensland.
We can take $1,000 off power bills because we took the big decision to make multinational coal companies pay their fair share.
And because we have kept our energy assets in public hands – where they belong.
That's 4pm Queensland, a few restrictions have now eased:
🍻 Venues such as pubs, restaurants and cafes can have one person per 2m² and you can stand at the pub for a drink.
🏘 Private gatherings are allowed up to 100 people
⚽️ Community sport is back with no restrictions
JUST IN: David Littleproud has responded to the QLD Deputy Premier calling him 2021's April Fool, as the war of words over the vaccine roll out continues...
@10NewsFirst
Why is the Federal Government allowing travellers to take multiple trips in and out of the country when they’re not vaccinated?

And Antony Green’s called it!
Tonight our friends in NSW rejected the Liberal’s privatisation and cuts agenda, and embraced a Labor Government that will protect publicly owned assets and invest in front line services.
How good is it to have a Labor Prime Minister who brings people together to deliver better jobs and working conditions, rather than a Liberal one who divides people to drive wages down.
