Double-check this if your game has been out for a few years, as Steam may have launched a new local currency since the last time you entered your pricing. If you haven’t updated pricing to include all 39 local currencies, users in some countries won’t be able to buy your game.

📢 Steam PSA 📢 Steam supports 39 different currencies globally. Not having pricing entered for all local currencies prevents users from buying your game. For example, if your game doesn’t have a price for Japanese Yen, then users located in Japan won’t’ be able to purchase it.

Sometimes customers will bring this to our attention, if they can’t buy a game they’re interested in. When that happens, we reach out to give you a heads up, and then you can enter a price in the missing currency.

Steam provides guidance for pricing your game in the many supported currencies, but ultimately it’s up to you to decide how to price your game. More info can be found on our Steamworks Dev post:
