Congrats to Pres. Boakai on signing the Executive Order on a War and Economic Crimes Court for Liberia! This is a huge step to end impunity after more than 20 years. We applaud Pres. Boakai’s leadership. The real work now begins, and the U.S. supports the 🇱🇷 fight for justice!

According to the US State spokesperson Vedant Patel, the United States "does not believe" the ICC has jurisdiction over Israel and its crimes but will continue to work "closely" with the same court in their work in Ukraine, Darfur, and Sudan.

International law is clear: Russia must pay for the damage it has caused in Ukraine. Anyone can file claims to the Registry of Damages through the Diia app for damage to residential property because of Russia’s brutal invasion. This is a step toward justice for Ukrainians.
Appreciated getting an update from 🇺🇦’s Interagency Working Group on Investigating War Crimes, Violations of the Laws and Customs of War, which is working with the 🇺🇸🇪🇺🇬🇧 Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group to hold those responsible for Russia’s atrocities to account.

Today, we mourn those killed during the Armenian Genocide and commit to telling their stories so they are never lost to history.
I am inspired by the resiliency of the Armenian people and all they have built, but we can never forget. Honored to have paid my respects last year:
The United States firmly believes that there should be no safe havens for perpetrators of grave international crimes. We will continue to use all law enforcement tools at our disposal to ensure that these criminals face justice.
@HSI_HQ
I and the American people stand with the victims, survivors, and family members of those lost to the Armenian genocide. We will continue to fight for a world where atrocities such as this one do not occur.
Standing up for freedom and human rights is the right thing to do. It is also profoundly in our national interest. Because countries that respect human rights are more likely to be peaceful, prosperous, and stable.
