Update from colleagues working on visors for frontline care staff. Since Tuesday we have made & distributed 650 masks. At present, we currently have 936 requests and for the time being, we can no longer take any more orders in order to overtake this level of demand. (Part 1)

The Dux Medal is awarded to the highest performing student and we are delighted to announce that our Dux Medallist for 2019/20 is Erin Wilson.

Today we also remember and pray for the soul of our former student John McCann who tragically passed away on this day in 2009. John was in 6th year when he suddenly took ill and his death shocked us all. We continue to pray for John and his family & friends. Requiescat In Pace.

Today we celebrate 15 years in our school campus. It was the first day back after the October break that we made the move from the temporary home on the old Columba High School site to our new home. Lots of great memories & experiences have been made with plenty more to come.

It is with sadness we learn of the death of Canon Willie Dunnachie former parish priest of St Mary’s. Canon Dunnachie was a frequent visitor & supported many of our Masses throughout the years.

Today we said farewell to one of the unsung heroes of the school as Linda McCall took early retirement from our school office. We thank Linda for all the incredible work she has done & for the support given to staff.

Our school rock band - The Drive have been invited by Capital FM to audition for the opportunity to play on the Queen Tuts stage at this summers TRNSMT festival. They will be performing this Fri from 4pm-5pm at St Enochs subway station. Why not come along & support The Drive.

The Scottish Government has announced schools across the country to close from the end of the school day this Friday – we are working on contingency plans to be put in place to support our families and will announce these as soon as we can.
Our S6 did us proud today- beautiful Mass, lots of tears, lots of presents and impeccable behaviour. Still plenty to look forward to with Prom and we will see you on exam days.
