Mitch Moreland turned a 1-year contract into 4 seasons with the Sox. He became a clubhouse leader, played through injury, called Adrian Beltre when Rafael Devers needed help, hit the biggest HR of 2018, and was a Jimmy Fund captain. In so many ways, he was perfect for Boston.
