@SodorSamurai I really don't get how they messed up Henry's sad face, but somehow recasted Gordon's bored face spot on

@RhysDarys Aside from Gordon's S1 smiling and S2 laughing and concerned faces, I really don't see any differences between Gordon's MRR recasts.

@SodorSamurai I think it’s fine in S6-S7, purely because in those seasons Henry was still a capable but flawed engine, and the recast did a better job at portraying that. I felt sympathy for him. In the HIT era, the face looks like $#!t.

@SodorSamurai The harsh lines on the original makes us feel his sadness. TATMR onward just makes him look pathetic.

@SodorSamurai I think they recasted the face because they were worried the gaps between his eyes would be more noticeable on the big screen for MR and that's why they recasted it to make the eye holes smaller but it looks so off
