I really don't know why Thomas had a different snowplough in S6 when he had the original one back in S7?

@SodorSamurai I think they made the rusty old snowplough with the intention of having it break in the crash sequence (not wanting to break the blue snowplough).

@Oliver11GWR Okay, but why make it that way though?

@SodorSamurai I always presume his original blue snowplough was undergoing repairs at the time of IOS, so he had to use an old spare one.

@SodorSamurai Probably a spare while the other was being repaired.

@SodorSamurai I think someone on the series 6 writing staff just skimmed over the story of Thomas, Terence and the Snow and thought that since Thomas broke his plough in that story that it never got repaired ever again.

@SodorSamurai Thomas hid his snowplough so well that it took a whole season to find it

@SodorSamurai Possibly his blue snowplow was under repair and they needed to use a spare snowplow, that would be my guess.

@SodorSamurai I like to think that his blue one is at ffarquhar and the only available rusty one was at knapford.
