i use a phob, which sometimes has issues with third party adapters, so i always bring a 1st party adapter. I have never been to a tournament where this wasn't allowed, lol

Honestly it's dumb that players aren't bringing their own gc adapters to US events. I'm someone who plays smash with a keyboard & ps5 dualsense. I brought my own adapters to make them work. Players should be responsible for making sure their controller work on event consoles

As a TO you can absolutely bring whichever adapter you god damned please. I do not have the time/energy/mental capacity to micromanage to that degree.
