Can you remember how seriously China took COVID for years? Do you realise that China is NOW treating COVID like it’s HIV/AIDS? Meanwhile the West is treating COVID like it’s the common cold. Nobody think this is odd? Are the Chinese total idiots, or is that us?

The Tories sold off our utilities saying it would lower costs to the public, they then pushed Brexit saying it would enable utility bills to be lower than in the EU. They are responsible for all this mess and they are liars. #ToryCostOfGreedCrisis #ToryBrexitDisaster #ToryLiars

Get this. Internalise it. It doesn’t matter if there is nobody else in the room. It matters if someone HAS BEEN in the room, maybe many hours before you entered, and whether they were exhaling virus particles at the time. Because the virus IS AIRBORNE. SARS2 hangs in the air.

So yesterday I was told outside by my (unmasked) friend that COVID is here to stay. We can’t hide away from it, missing out on life. It came with a smile I took to be saying that I need to accept this, come to terms with it, to stop being so determined to avoid infections. 1/5 🧵

New research has found there are two distinct types of Long Covid. Wealthy person LC is very complex and involves micro clots, immune system dysregulation, viral persistence etc Non wealthy person LC is purely psychological and will get better with a more positive attitude

Here’s the thing. Your government is formally advising you what you should be doing. They’re not shouting about it, they don’t want the masses to actually know about it. They want them carrying on like it’s 2019 But they are advising the few who still do that ‘thinking’ stuff! 🧵

All you can politely say is “wear a respirator to protect your life”, you’re not allowed to say “wear a respirator to stop killing other people” as that would be rude. Over 40% of transmission is from the asymptomatic and infected. Manners matter, killing others not so much.

In the UK the government advise to wear a mask “when COVID-19 rates are high and you will be in close contact with other people, such as in crowded and enclosed spaces” Rates are high. They’ve never stopped being high. Here’s a link:

COVID isn’t mild. The COVID pandemic isn’t over. COVID isn’t just spread by people coughing and sneezing. You can catch COVID in an empty room where someone infected (and totally asymptomatic) had been breathing many hours earlier. #UncomfortableFACTS

It really shouldn’t be a big ask To get a doctor, to wear a mask In a fucking airborne pandemic Should it?

When H5N1 eventually goes human to human, given all the anti-vaxxers, anti-maskers and freedom loving ‘truth telling’ patriots out there, it’s going to get medieval real fast.

So the right wing Sun (UK) is saying the Chinese pneumonia cases are down to immune deficiency after COVID, and Fox News is saying over half of COVID infections lead to lingering symptoms over three years later. Something changing?

Hey minimisers, if SARS-CoV-2 (COVID) is just as dangerous as a cold or flu then why is it a Hazard Group 3 pathogen (BSL3 USA), like rabies, TB, HIV not HG2 like colds and influenza? Go on, explain to the scientists (worldwide) who classify these pathogens why they’re ALL wrong.

Dear doctors and nurses not wearing a respirator in an airborne SARS2 pandemic, DO NOT let anyone take photographs of you maskless in your health care setting. Trust me. You’ll thank me later.

I’ve heard tell of a virus going around for the last four years that causes accelerated aging. We’re now finding a lot more accelerated aging in younger people, which is leading to more cancer. It’s like watching a horror movie unfold.

Who’s going to look after you when you’re bed bound with Long COVID? Have you checked they’re going to be willing and able? For years? Maybe for life? If you haven’t then why are you not wearing a respirator in public spaces right now?

"we are not there yet" with Covid, but "with repeated infection we should build up natural immunity". This is the BBC, the UK’s national broadcaster. So that’s what the population think they’re doing by getting repeatedly infected - building up immunity!

Good. If nobody’s going to tell doctors who work in hospitals full of airborne viruses that they need to wear an N95 or better then the viruses themselves can do the explaining. I’m sorry if this sounds callous but I’m sick of this now.

The UK has a homicide rate of about 10 per million and a covid death rate of 500 per million Given we are fine with these covid deaths why are we still bothering to solve murders and employ detectives? Can’t we learn to live with murderers like we do covid, just ignore them both?

Adenovirus, hMPV, RSV, Rhinovirus and SARS-CoV-2 all detected in the one child at the same time. Forcing children into crowded classrooms with no effort made to clean the air in them is immoral, particularly in a pandemic. Imagine how poorly that child feels? #CleanAirInSchools

This is a new official public health communication from New Zealand. It’s all in here, it’s exactly what the SARS2/COVID aware communities are saying. It’s our Government’s that are playing a political game of lying by omission/silence - we’re not wrong.
