Lol this angle is even worse for Caitlin. Intentionally runs into her, then shoves her, flops to the ground in 2 year old temper tantrum. Then pretends to be hurt and holds the wrong arm.

This is why Nebraska isn't in a bowl game. Some things are more important than football. As fans we forget these kids have family and lives outside of football that they put on hold. In this weird year when more than normal

💓 showing up after not seeing him (other than FaceTime) or being able to hug him for 8 months...PRICELESS✨. All of my heartbeats are home!! 🥰💞🙌🏽

I will 100% admit when Purdue scored 2 td in like 30 seconds. The thought of, "here we go again"crossed my mind.
It's very hard to break that mentality because it has happened so many times.
Only this time it didn't. And it hasn't under Rhule. Rhule is not Frost. The days of…
So I'm starting 2 connect the dots.
*Donovan Raiola is the only coach kept from current staff.
* Ohio state takes another Qb in this class (they said they weren't)
*Dylan Raiola scrubs Ohio St from his profile & now removes his commitment video.
Did Rhule really flip him?
Just saw Nebraska is moving to stage 4 of reopening. This means 100% capacity of outdoor facilities. Could we see a full memorial stadium for football?
I have said for years. I feel like Nebraska is the most unlucky team in football. No ball bounces our way. No calls go our way. If something can go wrong it does.
Last night, things went our way. Many times those little breaks are the differences between wins and losses. It…
This Malachi commitment and his statements suggests 1 of 2 things. Mickey is going to be the next HC at Nebraska. Or Trev already has another HC liner up and knows he will be keeping Mickey.
Yes Burrow is good. Yes he wanted to go to Neb. Even if he had nothing would have changed at Neb. He's actually very lucky Frost didn't want him. Odds are he wouldn't be in the the NFL right now.
For those saying what has Ochaun Mathis done. Well, he is on pace to have 66 total tackles. 5 tfl. 27 solo. 39 assists. 3 qb sacks.
He is the only guy we have on the team that can tackle. The D had been so bad, what he had done is getting overlooked. He just has no help.
Rhule is doing an amazing job getting nebraska back into the conversation for top transfers and recruits. Even if we don't get them. At least we are being considered again.
Wow, as a coach I'm not sure your want to say this during season. The lineman you got may just say screw you and let your kid really take a beating the last few games.
Deion Sanders on Colorado’s offensive line struggling to protect Shedeur:
“The big picture, you go get new lineman. That's the picture and I'ma paint it perfectly."

Remember Rhule said he wants guys on the team who's whole focus isn't Money and Nil. Sucks losing Rouse but this showed his true colors. Probably for the best long term.
Hard to believe but we did have some good yesterday.
Casey threw for 355 yrds and td.
As bad as the run game looked Grant ran for 100 and 2 tds.
Castenada got 120 and a td.
We had 1(yes 1 penalty) for 5 yrds
No missed field goals or xp.
Buschini average almost 50 yrds a punt
Nebraska football is like a drug isn't it?I know it's bad for my health. I know I should be doing something more productive. I tell myself everyday you don't need this you can quit. Then as Wednesday rolls around that that little "itch" starts. By Friday I need my fix. GBR4life
I'm most impressed with the D last night. They got punched in the mouth at the end of the half. They ACTUALLY made adjustments at half and allowed 70 yrds and 0 points in the 2nd half. When is the last time we saw a chin D struggle and fix it at half?
Rewatched the game. Thoughts
* the oline is still not very good in pass protection Especially on that left side (Corcoran)
* Haarberg looked good. Confident. A true leader. The team followed him.
* Grant looks like the more shifty of the 2 backs. Makes guys miss finds the…
This was the biggest failure of the Frost Era imo. There was never a next man up. The development was horrendous. Injuries happen and you have to have guys ready to go.
I remember watching games in the 90s thinking, wow it doesn't matter who plays, 1st, 2nd 3rd string. They…
Last night did very little for me to get me off the Mickey train. Yes winning games is important but as stated right now I'm looking for a leader of men. A hc who can build a program. Who gets his guys to keep fighting. Who keeps his team in every game. This is his yr1
Football has really destroyed me mentally. I'm sitting here watching Neb bball thinking. "Indiana is going to come back and win this with a last second shot, aren't they?"
We are thankful for the hands of talented surgeons and wonderful nurses. A quick post season repair and back on the road to greatness!!
Go be great kid!!!
@ChiColeman23
The more I see the more I think Urban is the only guy that can fix this. Pay him whatever he wants. Keep Mickey as a coach in waiting, similar to Ryan Day. Have Urban rebuild the winning culture for a few years and hand it off to Mickey.
Frost recruiting focus was going after flashy high ranked skills players. The o and d lines weren't viewed as a top priority. In reality if you make your lines top priority, they can make even average 3 star skills guys look like 5 stars. Got to prioritize the lines.
If Mickey and Busch really want to put panic in Beilma and Illinois. They come out with Smothers as qb and Yant as full back . Option and Power I football.
This season Nebraska is the only B1G team winless team.
Nebraska is the only B1G to play 2 opening away games.
Nebraska is the only B1G team to play 2 P5 programs.
Also the ONLY P5 program to play 2 p5 away games.
That's a tough draw for any year 1 HC.
Rhule looked tired and exhausted at the press conf. I know he tries to come off as cool calm and collected. I don't think he or any NEB coaches realize the pressure cooker they enter when they come here. Especially after these last 6 years. The patience and tolerance is…
Yes Nebraska is going to run the ball. You can bet Deion 100% knows this. That's fine. Every team we played from the 60s- early 2000s knew what we were going to do.
THEY JUST COULDN'T STOP IT.
Yes I understand our O line is a shadow of those days. Our offensive line still…
A positive I see is Rhule doesn't need the money. He could have chilled and relaxed a few years. He is here because he wants to be. That's a good start in a new HC.
I noticed as Frost led his team out of the locker room and the crowd went nuts, Frost got a big smile on his face. You can tell he has missed this. He cares deeply for this state and program. I hope he finds success.
Husker finally moving from the east to west sidelines. Let the other team bake in the August and Sept heat.
Then I would switch it again in Oct so we get the sun/warmth.
I don't believe Casey and Purdy stay. I don't think they are the type of qbs Rhule wants. He is more of a rpo guy. He will want a more mobile qb I believe. Smothers might get his shot.
He is going to be the one who leads this program back isn't he?.
He just gets it. He understands this program and state. It's a special/ unique place. Takes a certain HC. Took us 20 years, but I think we finally got him. Time will tell for sure.
2 people in this world. Those who pack it up and quit when things don't go perfect and those who work even harder. These are the guys we need on this team. Thank you!
So sick of Deion. "We didn't Plat great and we should be up alot more."
No you arrogant ass. Nebraska Defense is owning you. Sims gave you 13 points. If neb had a half decent qb Nebraska would be up a min of 14.
If its not Urban, Mickey or Kiffin I will be disappointed in the hire. Just saying, that's where I'm at right now. Not impressed with the options out there.
Here is what boggles my mind. Why is Nebraska and Frost the ones taking all the heat and criticism for not taking Burrow? If anything it should be Ohio St and Urban Meyer. They literally had the kid on campus and could see his mad skills every day for 2 yrs and let him leave.
Things to keep in mind before husker nation melts down on the CU win vs TCU.
Tcu ranked 91 in total defense last year
97th in passing defense and they lost all but 3 starters on that team this year. This is not a good defense. Might be one of the worst Inn the country as is.…
I keep hearing our O line is undersized. I looked at the oline from teams in the B1G west. Their average o line weight is 310. Ours is 302. Does 8 lbs make that big of difference?
I don't think it's a size issue. I just think it's a they suck issue.
Proof Rhule wants to get the most talented athletes on the field. Not necessarily at specific position. Malik is now listed as a WR instead of QB and predicted to Neb
This Utah team proves you don't need top 10 or even top 25 talent to play solid football. Just takes a competent HC. Hopefully we have one of those now.
From Dylans commitment announcement. This quote stood out,
"No longer a cog in some powerhouse machine. But a quarterback, with an even grander ambition unseen"
I joke about Neb being cursed. No I don't think they are. As Adam said, it's a culture thing.
Imo Frost damaged this program more than any hc of the last 60-70 years.
"When asked about why players were transferring and they said things like"
Coach won't return my texts or…
More on TCU.
* year 1 for HC
* 4 yr recruiting rank (28th 44th 23rd 32nd)
*4 yr record 5-7, 6-4, 5-7, 7-6
I say again there is no such thing as a 3-5 year rebuild. Good coaches win asap. Rhule and Neb should have success (6-6 min) next year.
We hear all the time. "Nebraska will never be good again, what top recruits want to come to Nebraska"
How many times has Neb volleyball had the
#1
class the last few years?
Recruits don't care where they play. They only care about winning.
I think husker football is finally in good hands. I think this downward spiral we have been in the last 20 years has finally stopped spinning Yes I could be wrong. Will we look back 5, 10, 15 yrs from now and have a hard time remembering how bad it was? I hope so.
B1G practice analysis on Nebraska.
-like the way d line is moving
-Sims has most turnovers per game avg of any active QB
-Returning 53% of O starters
-Returning 63% of D starters
-athleticism is noticeable
-players all seem to be bought in
