Today I asked my folks for help. It had taken me at least 6 weeks and a few sleepless nights agonising over whether I should or could ask them. Without batting an eyelid they said yes. We need many many Marg & Johns in the world. Lets all be like M and J!

I often wonder why we don’t learn to ask for help? I’ve always been so bad at it! Note for future: teach my kids to ask for help 🥰

💯- we have to create a culture where asking for help is rewarded. If we don’t ask we don’t give people the opportunity to say yes, no, maybe or I know someone who can! 😎

This tweet really resonated with me. Shielding in Lockdown has taught me that I’m horrendous at asking for help! Not sure why we don’t do it when we need it- would make life so much easier! I still can’t do it! Hope you’re ok though?
