It would be great to hear more DJ’s supporting the scene by playing current releases. IMO there is too much reliance on the playing obvious (really obvious in most cases) classics. I know that it’s hard to find great new music but if you dig deep it is out there. That’s the gig!

Heavy rumours that, due 2 low numbers, 2 estbalished UK brands will not return 2 Ibiza next summer. If so it really does underline Defected's move to San An has paid off. San An remains the gateway for many & these kids are our future. Making nightlife in Ibiza affordable is key.

We curate our line ups based on the inspired music that the producers have made, their DJ capability...ie ability to read a crown & drop the right record at the right time.......as apposed to booking a line up based on being adept at social media, hype and (often gamed) numbers.

I had to work hard to play well last night. I thought I nailed it for 75 mins but lost my way in the final 15....it happens....I am sure no one noticed but it’s consuming me right now. I’m sure all DJ’s can relate.

Site visit for @DefectedRecords office redevelopment. The final touches taking place. The space is insane but we need to stamp our DNA & cultural inspirations throughout. We decided to push forward during Lock Down so we can hit the ground running in 2021.

I love raving with my kids. I first watched the sun set in San An in 1986. Since then it has often been the kick off point for many a memorable night. Last night was no different. To introduce my boys to Ibiza & to see their love of House music, is something I never imagined.
