@elliotduby It's actually just a lower quality promotional render that's been used since the mid 2010s. I wouldn't worry too much, as it seems like DreamWorks did the same with some other characters, and they still frequently use renders from the old movies as well.

The 3D version of Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is basically lost at this point, as the movie hasn't been released on 3D Blu-ray in any country. It's a shame, as it was an amazing version of the film. Hopefully it gets released someday!
