I'm liam by name and am one of the queer asylum seekers in Kenya and I ran from my home country Uganda because of persecution, insecurity and homophobia and transphobia
we are seeking for activism advocacy and also donations if one can so that we can reach our needs

struggles we go through like getting drinking water, transphobia, homophobia from the non queer community but we so grateful for the support and solidarity from all the supporting individuals making sure we survive the harshness and torture here
The story of queers in kakuma is disgusting and harsh, there is a lot of homophobia in this place , there is scarcity of food, finding medication is a problem because of the homophobic doctors and medical workers , we go on calling for individual support to those who are able
Some people may interpret the call for equal rights as an attempt to gain special privileges because they misunderstand the concept of privilege itself. They might view it as an accusation or a desire for preferential treatment, rather than recognizing it as

This will be the darkest day ever to LGBTQ community in Uganda as the president of Uganda signs the Anti Homosexuality Act 2023, LGBTQ person's in Uganda have been murdered,discriminated and many are still in jail, some of us decided to ran out of Uganda to become refugees
