Today, Carol Moseley Braun, nominated by Pres Biden, will be sworn in as chair of @USADF . Moseley Braun shattered glass ceilings as the first Black woman to serve in the U.S. Senate & the first female Senator from IL, and she continues to do so. A well-deserved accomplishment.
