East Phillips residents just shut down today’s Minneapolis City Council meeting.
As constituents spoke up, 7 council-members got up left the chambers for a recess and were laughing from another room. Only 5 remained to listen. They’ve now adjourned.

Council-members Robin Wonsley & Jason Chavez, and their staff, stayed to hold space with folks inside the chambers (now locked) until Council reconvenes at 1:00pm- when they will vote on advancing the RFP for demolition of the roof depot.
