Return to Football Update
Today we have published guidance on the Phase 3 Return to Football permitted as of 13 July 2020.
Please familiarise yourself with the rules and measures that must be put in place for everyone’s safety and wellbeing.
The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.
The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.
GOOD NEWS STORY| Cumbernauld Colts are donating £4000 to Glasgow City Mission, Simon Community and Hope for Glasgow. The Club raised the money by doing a 'sleep out' just before Christmas
The cheques will be handed over tomorrow night, Tuesday 26 February, 7.30pm at Broadwood
SYFA want to give a big congratulations to our very own Mitch Agnew who won the 'Service to Sport' award 2017 from the Sports Council for Glasgow last night! Well done Mitch, well deserved.
The SYFA can confirm that as per the Scottish FA and SPFL joint response group update, all football has been suspended until further notice. For the avoidance of doubt, this suspension applies to all football matches under the SYFA’s jurisdiction.

SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS - Due to the severe weather conditions we have been contacted regarding the cancellation of all matches this weekend. In the interest of Safety and Child Wellbeing the SYFA would ask that all leagues cancel their programme for this weekend. Stay safe

The Scottish Youth Football Association would like to express our deepest sympathies following the death of Barrhead YFC player Anton Houghton. Our thoughts are with Anton's family and club at this very sad time.
This weekend will mark the return to games for many of our teams. This is welcome and exciting news but comes with responsibilities to keep each other safe.

Round one of the competition kicks off this weekend!
A whopping 1837 teams up and down the country are set be competing.
With every single team hoping to secure their place in round two, SYFA would like to wish all teams the best of luck!
The SYFA Development Squad are currently in Holland!
They drew in their first game on Saturday 2 - 2.
They were set to Play German team on Sunday with coaching by PSV Coaches, updates of this game to follow

All 2006 teams please remember that your Coach will need to have a 1.2 Coaching Footballers 13+ before making application for the 2018/19 Season as you are moving to 11 a side in August.
Player registrations update 2019-20| Could all 11 a-side teams please print off your list of player ID numbers as they will drop off the system at the end of the month. Having this list printed will make the registration for the new season much easier for you
