If you missed out on Elijah Mitchell, rest assured that he is not 2021 James Robinson.
It would take an RB apocalypse for Kyle Shanahan to give 1 guy 79% of the carries and 11.2% of targets over the course of the year.
Among active QBs, only Drew Brees has more seasons of 6.0+% TD rate than Russell Wilson.
Brees has 7 in 19 seasons
Wilson has 6 in 8 seasons
Aaron Rodgers has 5 in 12 starting seasons
No one loves Christian Kirk.
No one loves Marvin Jones.
No one loves Zay Jones.
No one loves Laviska Shenault.
And yet no one seems to agree with me that Evan Engram has a shot to lead these Jaguars in targets.
Not gonna lie … I’m concerned about Jordan Addison between:
1) Opening his NFL career with “gonna make that money”
2) Driving 140 in a Lamborghini before he has played a game
I’m not a buyer in any format.
Not the first time I’ve seen this opinion … and I think it remains absurd. If you propose me a trade that doesn’t interest me at all and I don’t see anything on your roster I want, that interaction is done.
You can try to temper my expectations for Tyler Allgeier. But all he has to do is beat out:
1) Qadree Ollison and his 44 career carries
2) The ghost of 2019 playoffs Damien Williams
If anyone in your league complains about Jaylen Samuels’ TE eligibility, sit that person down for the tale of the Great Marques Colston Debacle of 2006.
Then tell them to chill the F out.
We have A.J. Brown projected for 11 more targets than DeVonta Smith.
@UnderdogFantasy
has them separated by 4 rounds and 26 spots in WR ADP.
Gimme Smith between them at cost.
I wonder if the folks holding/grabbing Gronk remember that he only finished 9th in fantasy points per game last season, right behind Jack Doyle in PPR and Will Dissly in non-PPR.
I think Keke Coutee outscores Will Fuller straight up in fantasy this year. So the fact that I can get him 2 rounds later feels like trick-or-treating.
Folks, I know where Bijan Robinson is getting drafted …
All my early James Conner exposure makes it a LOCK the Cardinals ignore their other needs and take Robinson at 3.

So, you're saying Drew Lock likes to cook but often burns food, whereas Geno Smith only uses the microwave and always follows the directions on the package?
Justice Hill has done nothing since arriving in the NFL in 2019.
He has worked behind UDFA Gus Edwards at every point other than this preseason -- despite arriving as a 4th-rounder to Edwards' team.
He posts an 8-9-2 rushing day ... and now he's the guy you NEED to grab?
Nah.
Washington CB Quinton Dunbar might be the biggest sleeper at any

Joe Burrow tore his left ACL & MCL on 11/22/20. He started all the next season.
Carson Wentz tore his left ACL & LCL on 12/10/17. He missed the first 2 games of 2018.
Robert Griffin tore his right ACL & LCL on 1/6/13. He started Week 1 (and tied for QB13 in fantasy pts/gm).

ADP discount
Cameron Brate is now ahead of Evan Engram in ADP, and that’s a mistake.
Brate has played less than 50% of snaps in 4 straight years; less than 40% in 3 straight. Gronk was there for just 2 of those — and out for 5 games last season.
There’s definitely a chance that the move this week is to pass on paying for Elijah Mitchell and then grab Trey Sermon for free after someone drops him.
Still not ready to let my wife know about this

squad … cuz I’m pretty sure she’d want updates throughout Sunday on every dude on the roster …
Is Blues Traveler’s “Hook” the cleverest song ever?
He literally says: I can sing whatever I want; as long as it’s catchy, you’ll eat it up.
And we ate that sh!t up.
Among last year's top 50 PPR WRs, here were the leaders in TD rate:
Golladay 16.9%
D.Slayton 16.7%
Perriman 16.7%
AJ Brown 15.4%
Marquise Brown 15.2%
Marvin Jones 14.5%
Tyrell 14.3%

Tyreek 12.1%
McLaurin 12.1%
Look ... I wish Austin Ekeler and the Chargers were on better terms, too.
But they've added NOTHING at RB despite the squabble. And the market does NOT hold an Ekeler replacement.
So I'm gonna draft him like he's still the lead in what could be the league's best 2023 offense.
#Jets
TE Chris Herndon is blocking more than any other starting tight end on his passing snaps at 36.4% (minimum 80 total snaps).
Combined with only playing 74% of overall snaps and playing on an anemic offense, you have a very bad fantasy recipe.
Perhaps Okudah was also a key factor in DeVonta Smith going silent in Week 1 vs. A.J. Brown looking like a target monster. Drastic shift in the 2 games since.
This is as good of a start from Jeff Okudah you could hope for if you're a Lions fan. Lined up vs Jefferson 31 times yesterday and only targeted 4 times for 2 catches
The NFL and its reporters love to tell us how exciting it is to add overseas games.
But why should I — a football fan in NY, in a country where the league is thriving — be at all excited about moving games away from the people whose tax dollars keep building these stadiums?
