Saudi women were given the right to drive in 2018 and now they will be launching off into space. Saudi Arabia is speeding towards progress. Today, the Kingdom launched its astronaut programme, with 2 astros (1 woman) scheduled to launch to ISS in 2023.
UPDATE: Japan's ispace is reporting that its Hakuto-R Mission 1 lander has now successfully completed all orbital control maneuvers ahead of its highly-anticipated lunar landing attempt on April 25.
The lander is carrying UAE's Rashid rover + many other international payloads.
