I just got off the phone with Coach Harbaugh and Jim shared with me the great news that he is going to remain as the Head Coach of the Michigan Wolverines. That is fantastic news that I have communicated to our Athletic Director Warde Manuel.

Countless members of the University of Michigan family have reached out to me over the weekend and I wanted to express my appreciation. Like any community, we face our share of challenges and adversity. There have been many such moments in our history. But as our team showed so…
I pleased to share that I have been having very positive and constructive conversations with our Athletic Director and Football Coach. Warde Manuel and I both want to see Jim Harbaugh stay as the head football coach of the University of Michigan Wolverines.

I’m so proud of all the players, the coaches and the entire university. The team showed a lot of heart out there, all season. And this university community is behind them 100%. I think they’re going to go all the way. It’s great to be a Michigan Wolverine. Go Blue! 〽️
They told me when I signed on that the University of Michigan network was special. I’ve been approached 6 times at LaGuardia airport with folks saying “Go Blue” and I’m not wearing Michigan apparel. 〽️
With tonight’s win, the 9-0 record and the losses by other teams, Michigan will almost certainly move into the CFP top 4. So proud of the team. 〽️ GoBlue!
The flags on the University of Michigan campuses will be lowered to half-staff until further notice to honor the victims of the shooting at Michigan State University.
Before the game the naysayers said Michigan couldn’t win with their passing game. That JJ couldn’t connect for the big TD. 5 touchdowns of >45 yards.

I have no idea why this happened, but Twitter just verified me for the first time in my career. And I didn’t request it. 🤔It’s great to be a Michigan Wolverine 〽️
I had a chance to have dinner with the football team yesterday night. I thanked them for representing the university and said I was so pumped that I’d even suit up if needed…although that would not be a plus. I’d better stick to joining my 110K best friends cheering them on.
Michigan fans. I’ll be at multiple pep rallies and tailgates over the next 3 days leading up to the Fiesta Bowl. I hear there’s going to be a sea of maize and blue in Phoenix. Please stop by and say hello. Go Blue! 〽️
Tonight a kid of about 9 years old tugged on my shirt at Yost and said “You are Santa, right?” I nod. He replies “all I want when I grow up is to go to Michigan.” I reply “study hard in school. I’d love to welcome you to our school in a couple of years.” He replies “Go Blue!” 👏🏻
I am looking forward to my meeting with University of Michigan Athletics this morning. I am grateful for all that our coaches and staff do to support more than 900 student-athletes across 29 sports.
For those of you messaging me about the possibility of a snow day, here’s a fun fact: UM hasn’t had a snow day on the Ann Arbor campus since January 1978 when there was 19” of snow. But feel free to make a snowman. ⛄️
At the end of the basketball game today a group of high school students struck up a conversation with me. One of them said “you know the Wolverines are undefeated in all games you have attended.” I reply “I think you are right.” They reply “you have to attend every game now.” 🤔
What an incredible season

So I was at the airport and someone taps me on the shoulder and says “Santa Ana?” I reply “it’s departing from Gate A6 in about an hour”. He replies “I meant aren’t you Santa Ana from Michigan?” I reply “Close, but it’s Ono, like Yoko, buddy.” 😂
It meant so much that my college buddies Steve Barry and Peter Poulos joined me to cheer on the Michigan Wolverines as they won their second straight B1G Championship

To all veterans, thank you for your service and bravery. As Elmer Davis said, “This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave.”

At a recent meeting someone said “that’s a very high bar.” I replied “this is University of Michigan. There is no bar too high for our university. Don’t come to me with reasons why we can’t do something. Those are called excuses. Come to me with how we will exceed expectations”
