Years ago i was in texas for an event in SF4. Day 1 at the hotel i decided to get a drink out the vending machine. Tokido came to me and said hey Sanford play? I dropped all plans and said sure. Came into he room and DAIGO was laying down and watched me play Tokido for 2 hours.

If you're trying to be a serious competitor. You need to pick a top tier. This doesn't mean you can't play who you like. I just think if you're a smart player you should at least pocket one for serious competition. It betters your chances overall imo. Pride really limits you TBH

I love the FGC and have been apart of it for 21 years. As I turn 40 next month I can confidently say that I'm done competing competitively until further notice. I know SF6 is around the corner but I don't have the drive to compete anymore. I just don't like any modern games.

SF6 is a very focus and concentration FG. You absolutely need to have your awareness at a very high level. This game will make players better at FGs imo. The engine is very demanding of the PLAYER more than SF4 and SFV imo.

I like Street Fighter 6 because it teaches you discipline and there's answers to most things. No more FREE offensive pressure everytime. SF6 was a good game for year 1 unlike other SF titles over the last 14 years. I mean it's only going to get better from this point on.

Y'all can complain about SF6 all you want. My opinion is that SF6 is better than SF4 and SFV in year one in comparison. The game has only been out for about over a month people. SF6 will get better over time. They can start by removing throw loops and tweak DR in neutral.

I have watched A LOT of SF6 footage This footage contained "good" players in SFV that gained an ego because the GAME allowed them to get situations from a single hit like CCs and V Trigger on block. These players were trash in neutral without it and couldn't close out Matches.

My pick a top tier video expresses that a character can give you a higher chance of winning. You the player are the biggest factor to becoming a champion. Characters can't CARRY you there. Tons of people play the same character online and offline and don't have the same results.

Most of the time when you lose. It's not the Character match ups. It's the player match up. There's always something YOU could be doing better or more of. How efficient and fast you adapt is what it really comes down. Work on yourself just as much as your character knowledge

I've quit FGs competitively since 2021. I've tried to adapt to the super offensive FGs but I can't deal with the extreme amounts of Guessing. There's very little PLAYER attributes compared to older games. Everyone wins under a similar condition off guessing. It's different now.

I hear all this talk about @Dual_Kevin only getting this far because of Rashid. There were at least 3-4 other WORLD CLASS rashids in the same tournament including one that WON Capcom Cup. Yet Kevin is the ONLY Rashid in top 8 and new to SFV compared to them. Respect that Man!!

Again Shout out to Idom on a legendary run. But for me personally I'm more impressed with Kawano clutching it out against Gachikun. Then losing 4 games straight in a bad MU(Laura wins) and winning Evo. He showed real perseverance and didn't crack. Nerfed Kolin btw...
