Had Dinner with CO of a unit which was deployed at Siachen for the past 25 months. He was looking frail, had lost weight & hair, had not been part of any family function 4 the past 25 months. But he was more ecstatic about the fact that his unit had not lost a single Soldier!!

Doctor with Army's R&R hosp invited us for stag dinner.He received us at 8PM, got a call & immediately left for an emergency case. He got home after 1 hour, spent 30 minutes with us. Got another call at 10PM, left 4 an emergency surgery. We went to kitchen, warmed food,ate & left
