With exception of Scottish, everyone has won 2 matches, and the bottom of those (Pirates) beat the top (Ealing). There’s a huge void of English league rugby on terrestrial TV atm. This league should be put on BBC for next to nothing. The gain would be vast.

Three times today, I’ve had to explain the Championship promotion situation to interested parties. They stand there, confused. “If a team is good enough, it goes up?” They have all said. This is another example of how our sport is pushing people away.
