Not sure I can remember one player costing a team this many games this early on. He came into a perfect spot. Nobody on 1 out two righties and he didn’t even come close to getting the job done
@SamOlbur
Maybe he hates his team, because he tried to get it done for the brewers. This is upsetting. Why would Counsell do that when Adbert has clearly been on a down spin?
@SamOlbur
This cubs team could easily have 25 wins if Jed would have gotten 2 more relievers in the offseason. Adbert thinks he’s pitching on MOB the show and I think Neris is coming around but he’s currently a walk machine.
@SamOlbur
4 steals in an inning is bothering me. I don’t know any stats behind it but I remember Amaya struggling to throw people out last year and Brewer and Alzolay just seemed like they weren’t paying attention to the runners whatsoever.
@SamOlbur
Time to cut our loses with Alzolay . I peg this lose on the manager again for using him. It so plainly obvious he needs time in AAA to regain his stuff and confidence. In my opinion there has been a couple bad decisions by the manager that costs us some games.
@SamOlbur
It’s time for a DFA. Doesn’t even matter if there’s a good arm in Iowa, anyone can come up and be serviceable which he just isn’t anymore. Wouldn’t even crack a regular role in the A’s bullpen
@SamOlbur
Let's play a new game. Stop blaming the pitcher who's not good and blame the guy who put together such a pathetic bullpen, fired the manager to be the fall guy, hired a new one in jobs to fix his mistakes, and still so pathetic of a job putting it together it still costs games
@SamOlbur
He cannot miss a bat to save his life. When you give up constantly contact, even when it’s not hard contact like today, it’s going to bite you. He can’t pitch anymore.
