Day 1- Berlin. After an extremely early start this morning, our TYs have arrived in Berlin. Upon arrival we visited Sachsenhausen- one of the main concentration camps in Germany, purposely built in 1936. It was the second major camp to be built after Dachau.

Today we began the CPR 4 Schools programme in association with the Irish Heart Foundation. In the next few weeks we aim to train all students and give them the confidence to perform hands-only CPR in cardiac emergencies, use an AED and know what to do when someone is choking.

Our Parents’ Association are delighted to inform all parents and senior students that rugby analyst and mental health advocate Brent Pope will be in the school on Tuesday 10th December at 7pm to provide a talk on positive mental health.

Spreading a bit of happiness with our Kindness Wall this morning as our first year base classes placed positive thoughts and compliments on the wall as part of our October Wellbeing theme. Luke Kilcar gave direction and ensured the job was done properly 👍
