Gritting and snow clearing will continue 24/7 over the weekend as we look to recover from continually drifting snow. Focus on reopening the main roads currently closed then moving on to other routes on a priority basis. Yellow warnings remain in place so take care.

Roads update: Priority routes have been continually treated since Monday and will be ploughed and gritted again through today and tonight. Priority footpaths were gritted at 04:30 and will be re-treated at noon. All available resources now deployed on secondary roads & paths.
