Today’s funeral of The Duke of Edinburgh was exactly how he wanted it. No fuss, no Pomp and Circumstance. The only thing he wouldn’t have wanted was The Queen having to sit alone. Although she would’ve been happy doing that knowing he was able to have the funeral he wanted.

A Royal Ceremonial funeral for The Duke of Edinburgh’s will take place next Saturday, April 17th, 3pm at St George’s Chapel, Windsor. He will stay in The Queen’s private chapel, Windsor Castle before being transferred to St George’s Chapel by the Range Rover he designed.
